Now that the excitement of the “holidaze” is over, I have a chance to talk about the amazing experience we had having our daughter’s wedding reception at The Lawn! The whole event had to be put together in two months and with the help of John and Jessica, we were able to have a beautiful event that looked like it had taken months to plan.. They met every need we had and more! The restaurant looked beautiful almost like a ski chalet…with white chairs and linens to match our wintry theme. The food was amazing…from the delicious short ribs to the butternut squash risotto…we heard nothing but raves from our guests. The wine choices were superb and reasonably priced for the quality. The service was flawless…and the smoothness of the whole operation was very impressive. John and Jessica were a complete pleasure to work with and made the night feel like a dream. If you’re looking for a place to hold a lovely event, look no further...
Read moreI had dinner here with my family and was disappointed with the slow and poor service as well as mediocre food, to say the least. Starter drinks took at least 25 minutes to receive, many parts of the order were forgotten, and the food came out at different times, so we were not able to eat together. Half of the table finished their meal as the others had just received there’s. At one point, I watched a lady get up and approach the host to complain about another table not being greeted for an extensive amount of time or being given something as simple as water to start. I would not recommend coming here for dinner. It does not operate like an efficient restaurant, nor does the food meet the standard that they charge. It is a lovely place to grab a snack or drink if you’re in the area or golfing,...
Read moreSat outside on a lovely spring Sunday. The restaurant wasn’t busy so we had a whole section of the patio to ourselves. Food was quite good. Order was messed up by the kitchen so our shishito pepper appetizer arrived with lunch. The server offered to cancel it when it didn’t arrive but I am a vegan and wanted the dish as part of my dining experience. Portions were generous so we brought leftovers home. We had a Thai “steak” salad but I subbed tofu for the meat. Daughter had gluten free fried chicken. I tasted the batter and thought it was a bit sweet. We ordered cocktails as it was a bday lunch and my bloody was served as requested , not spicy, and I’d rate the cocktail 4.5 as I didn’t love the Bloody Mary mix- a very personal thing. Overall a great experience and will...
