UPDATE #3 Went again last night fo the live music and patio!! Found out they have updated their menu... and prices
The patio is nice! Nice lighting and decorations. Lots of greenery with grape vines growing around the edges and across the lighting hung overhead. Umbrellas at the tables that you can open or close depending on your desire for sun. The sound system is nice out there. Music sounds good and it's not to loud to have a conversation with people at your table at a comfortable volume. The service is a constant rotation of people checking on you, which is nice but leads to some confusion.
The updated menu has some good items. The fried green beans are served hot and crispy! They come with a chili sauce and ranch. Both are needed as the green beans alone are kind of bland. No real flavor in the breading. With a touch of salt and spice they can be very good!! Also had a wedge salad which was very good!! Good portion, a little pricey ($13) but was overall a good choice. Nice amount of blue cheese crumbles, bacon and cherry tomatoes. Next were some onion rings which were dripping oil out of uncooked batter... so bad I had to send them back and got sweet potato fries instead which were WAYYYYY BETTER! hot and crispy!! Finished the night off with the truffle burger(my phone died no pic ) the burger patty itself was tasty but unfortunately it was cut or broken into like 4 different pieces so it just fell apart and was a sloppy mess. In spite of the mess it was very good!! Hot melted cheese, mushrooms and bacon!! Sooooo good. If the patty was one piece it would have been even better!!! Still think the 3% fair wage tax is BS!!! Not my responsibility to pay your staff what you should pay them.
UPDATE 2 A new 3% service charge on the bill? Last 2 times food has been mediocre and not worth the price.... $20 for a bland, fatty, French dip? And 3% on top of that.... probably the last time I come by.
UPDATE Still good! The spicy bloody Mary was great! The French dip was good. Needed salt, but otherwise good! Love the patio!!
Always packed! Nice little neighborhood bar. Good crowd. Love the patio. Food is good but a little over priced...
Read moreGreat little place for high-scale bar food, great service, and good times. Unfortunately my sister and I recently had a bad experience - she requested no cheese and sure enough was brought a salad with cheese. My steak salad was just... bad. The steak was really unevenly cooked ranging from medium well to raw - not an exaggeration - some parts were cold and gelatinous. The server showed genuine sympathy and disappointment in the kitchen. He provided us with a new salad for her, but I refused a new one since the raw steak kind of killed my appetite.
Why four stars you ask? Because the people there are awesome, and in this particular case while we fully intended of paying for everything, the server grabbed the manager and she approached us to tell us the tab was on her. Exceptional service and greatly appreciated.
But don't let the quality of food in this situation deter you - typically the food is fantastic, and if you're into burgers I recommend The Glenn - it's god damn delicious.
They even have karaoke and/or trivia nights if you're into that. There's a nice hidden patio in the back that is arguably bigger than the actual dining area, with a full bar as well.
The only reason I deducted a star is because on a weekend evening the place gets insanely loud. If you're looking to have a rich conversation or do something romantic I'd stay away on a Friday or Saturday night - you'll find yourself borderline yelling to communicate. That, and in my humble opinion as an amateur foodie the prices can be pretty steep, even if the portion sizes typically leave you with a doggy bag.
TL;DR: Had one bad experience, manager totally rectified it. Food is usually awesome, service is near flawless, karaoke and trivia are fun. Environment is quaint and warm but occasionally very loud. Food isn't cheap.
It's worth checking out, and if you're in the area you know your other options are fast food, family buffet style garbage, and a CiCi's pizza, if you're about to get evicted and have nine kids to...

Two visits about a week apart.
First, the bad: The hanging lights at the bar can block the view of the TV's. Depends where you sit. Yeah, not great. And thats all there. Everything else is fantastic...
The Good: Service- 10 out of 5 stars. From the minute you walk in staff is attentive. Sit where you like, they come to you. Plenty of seats at the bar, tables around the inside of the pub, and a nice outdoor patio seating area that is dog friendly. Good amount of TV's inside if your watching a game. Good parking too.
Food: 5/5 first time had a grilled shrimp salad. Shrimp cooked perfectly. Salad of mixed greens and carrots was fresh produce. Dressing good not overly salty. Second time had the green chile. Also not overly salty, had great chile flavor with a very subtle spice level. Meat was very tender.
Also sitting at the bar saw several different dishes being served, all looked great. Smells from the kitchen were on point. Chefs know what they are doing. Meals come out quick. Servers are ready and nothing sits for even a minute.
Same for the bar. Barstaff know what they are doing. Take care of all at the bar with attention, recommendations if asked, and friendly.
Been in a lot of pubs. This one is very well managed and everything flows from there, from staff to food to bar and service. Oh, and a clean men's room. Thanks for that!
Located in a cool spot, a neighborhood pub for sure. Whether it's close or a little drive, I'd recommend for great food and drinks, and to have a nice chill time. Feel lucky to have found this gem, locals probably have been enjoying spot for...
