Frisch's Big Boy — Restaurant in Northwood

Went there for a birthday dinner. Our food was cold. The fries were still half frozen and we did mention to our server, she was more concerned about texting on her phone than taking care of our food. My chicken sandwich was so overcooked it could have been used for the Walleye Game hockey puck. The only thing that was halfway decent was the pop and even that alot of us had to go up and find another waitress to help us. There weren't alot of people in there that Wednesday night so there should have been no excuse. I wish I could leave no stars but the review won't save unless a star is there. She sure was happy when she brought the bills - we did not leave her a tip (left a penny) cuz she did bring 1 soda over a period of time trying to celebrate a birthday. Worst service, worst food ever. McDonalds would have been better, at least their fries are cooked. Bathrooms were atrocious - need cleaned. No wonder the other ones are closing, this one is one that should be next. Disgusting and rude and we stopped at ChicFilA for something edible to eat afterwards. I really used to love coming here but man has this place went down hill. I hadn't been here in probably a year because the last time we went I paid with my card, and the waitress tried giving herself a way bigger tip thinking that I wouldn't notice the price difference between the computer screen and my receipt because I had my 2 kids with me. Joke was on her, we stood there for probably 45 minutes telling this woman and the manager they took the wrong amount, only for them BOTH to tell me they didn't charge my card at all. I lovey had to call my bank right in front of them and put it on speaker so the bank employee could tell them they 1000000% took my money. Almost an hour for them to correct the amount and refund the amount taken. So we didn't go back for a long time. Cut to yesterday and we decided it would be a nice treat, I was paying with cash this time because of obvious reasons. And I'm glad I did because it was the SAME waitress who waited on us. Horrible service I had to ask for coffee three times . I had to ask both the hostess and the waitress twice for biscuits on the side and never received them they acted very condescending and nasty one of the waitresses actually reached out and touched my mother's necklace and asked if she could have it. We were ignored the whole meal I did not receive my toast that comes with an omelette now I used to work at a restaurant actually a few and you just don't forget things that come automatically with me especially when there was one other person dining they were so quick to go do nothing that they didn't pay attention to anything they just wanted to go stand in the back and talk. I haven't had food that tasted so bad in a long time my hash browns tasted like the full butter that they spread on the flat top called whirl so bad that I couldn't even eat them I asked for extra crispy and I received undercooked stringy hash browns.
