Gionino's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Norton

The girl that answered the phone was very rude. She said my address incorrectly than got upset when I corrected her. Than I was still going to place an order . I wanted the 12 piece chicken, however they were out of white meat. I told her to forget it . I called back to complain about that girl, and a young man answered the phone . I asked to speak to a manager or the owners and he said they were busy. I told him to give my number to them and have them call me. I did get a call back and it was the same rude young lady that originally took my order. I told her about herself and that I still didn't believe she was the owner. My husband went there once to pick up and order and he told me that he waited forever for the food and the people there were rude also. There is a much better pizza place down the street(FAT Boys) with better prices. Their 12 piece chicken comes with JoeJoes, hot rice and coleslaw . It is a family owned business not a franchise and they have a very friendly Staff and the Owner is great , never Rude like that younglady at Gioninos. This location has changed policies that go against the corporate way of doing things. They claim they can't do any substitutions, but I can verify that Gioninoes can and will do substitutions, but as others have said, this location has a rude and stubborn manager/owner. Go to the location out in Ellet, they treat their customers like they are truly appreciative of them. Keep in mind that while I don't order from Gioninoes very frequently, it is at least once a month...I chose this location this time because I was going to be right down the street, but I changed my mind after talking with their employee on the phone, who would not provide a name and seemed irritated that someone called his store. Wasn’t too impressed with the customer service of the Norton Gionino’s ordered a 12 piece mild wing went to pick it up and checked the wings before leaving like I always do because I like my wings to have a fair amount of sauce well I didn’t believe they had enough sauce so I asked for more sauce to be tossed in to which I was countered with a worker telling me “oh that’s plenty of sauce more sauce than it’s supposed to be actually” and whiles that’s fine for her to believe I just had a simple request which I feel was easy to comply with instead she went on to tell me if I wanted extra sauce I’d have to either order another set of wings or pay for extra sauce which I feel was doing a bit too much for such a simple request especially considering every other Gionino’s I go to has zero problems just adding extra sauce love the food love the company just wish this one time the slogan the “customers always right” came to mind...
