Bluto's Hometown Tavern — Restaurant in Norwalk

My gf n I came in late afternoon early evening Fri or sat a cpl weeks back. We sat right up front in the second booth going twords the restrooms like we always do.We ordered boneless wings that were unable to be ate because they wereburnt n so crunchy. We let the waitress know n she had them make us more n took 15% off. We were cool with it and everything was fine.I went up to pay with my card and while we waited for our food. I never leave a tip n pay with my card. Well anyway I saw a cpl ppl I know and we went to the back patio for a cigarette and finish my pop and catch up because they were with a group out back already. Before we even get are food she comes out and asks why she didn't receive a tip. And if it was her service or the food. I said we weren't finished n I don't leave tips on my card and when I told her I planed on tipping her when we left she said no I wasnt. Then she started causing a scene saying how she relays on tips n were disrespectful for not leaving her anything. Then that's when I spoke up and said no your being disrespectful I'm back here talking with a cpl friends and waiting for our food u screwd up and told her I wasn't giving her anything after the way she wanted to act. We got are food n I went up to the bar tender to say something about the situation and he told me take it up with your waiter. I said there's nothing to take up with her she came out back harassing me for a tip. So I got into my pocket went through my change and grabed 3 cents and said here then tell her here's her tip since everyone wants to be disrespectful.We didn't even finish are drinks and others there agreed she was out of line and just embarrassing in front of all those ppl. Then we get home n they were burnt and just like the last ones before. I've been going there for years n always get wings and everyone's always polite and friendly and always leave a fair tip. But I just couldn't believe the way she handled herself and I've never treated any server anywhere to be treated how...

A place I have been thinking about going to for awhile, just hadn't gotten around to it, my bad. No really, MY BAD. Mrs.Turtle and I made a special trip from Amherst just to get there. We've been "fasting" since the first and decided "F... IT" let's go. Service was top notch, waited about hmmmm..1 minute, then "BAM" waitress, drink orders and menu's (plural?). We both decided on the Monster Burgers, 1 with fries, 1 with tots, 1 cooked medium, 1 medium rare. TOO DIE FOR...1/2# of meat, 3 different cheeses, bacon, grilled onions, mushrooms, lettuce & pickle. Only took as long as needed to produce a delicious meal and voilà, dinner was served. Both burgers where outstanding and cooked to perfection. My medium rare was just that!...mmmmm 😋 and the medium was as ordered (heathen😵‍💫). Wait staff was on spot and came to our table enough to be helpful yet not overbearing. Me and my friend went and had dinner this evening and watched a little t.V to relax and hang out for a bit. I ordered a side salad and uh, provolone. Deep dried skewers with marinara sauce. Just the salad and the skewers were delicious. As a meal, the side salad absolutely tasted amazing with they're italian dressing, it was fresh and one of the best salads i've had in a year. My friend also had the deep fried mushrooms that are absolutely delicious and gigantic. I suggest blueto's hometown tavern to anybody in the norwalk area. Thank you for the amazing meal! Also, thank you for the awesome atmosphere and quiet environment on a sunday evening to just relax and hang out with a buddy.
