Bob's Pizza — Restaurant in Norwalk

So my family has had this pizza a few times now, so I thought I would give this place a review. Now the pizza is very good. My family enjoys it very much. The dough comes out soft (even after the leftovers have been in the fridge over night, it still stayed soft), the sauce tastes like real tomato sauce, and it's not greasy. But that's as good as it gets. Last time we ordered a large pepperoni with sausage, they didn't put very much pepperoni on the pizza, and the sausage was even less. And for the price you pay, they should be putting alot more. Yes, the price is a big factor for this place. They are not very competitive when it comes to pricing (compared to Little Caesars or Domino's). Expect to pay a higher price for fewer toppings. That's one of the reasons we don't come here often. The place is always empty. I don't think I've personally seen more than 4 customers at one time here. Now there are a number of factors that seem to keep people away, IMO. The prices (a bit high). No beer at all and no soda on tap. The atmosphere is kind of depressing. A very plain, late 70's look. They have one large TV and one medium size tv, with your standard booth/s with a couple of small tables by the windows. They have what looks like 2 wall air conditioners, but they weren't on and it was uncomfortably hot in this place. And what's up with the Reggae music. At least play some 80's if not something more contemporary. Now the place seems clean and fairly well kept. But I wish the little guy who made our pizza washed his hands with soap instead of just using water. Well, that's my opinion of this place. Anyway, the pizza is good, so at least give them a try and see what you think.

My fiancee and I wanted to support a local small business during the pandemic, so when a pizza craving hit I knew what to do. I had seen Bob's on Yelp a number of times and noticed its high ratings, so I had it bookmarked for just such an occasion. We ordered a combo meal of a one-topping pizza, plus an order of wings and a 2-liter of Coke all for under $25, which is a way better deal than you'd get from Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Domino's, etc. The pizza was really good, no complaints there. I didn't have any wings, but my fiancee assured me they were also very tasty. The only issue was the 2-liter of Coke, which never arrived, so I had to spend an inordinate amount of time on the phone with GrubHub sorting that out and being refunded. Other than that issue, I'd recommend Bob's, and will likely eat their pizza again (though hopefully my Coke shows...

Unfortunately I had the worst service we've ever had here tonight. I finally got my order over an hour after we ordered not the 20 minutes we were told. When I first arrived and paid, I found out the order was taken wrong and I was told it would be an extra 10 minutes to correct. Ok, I had no problem with waiting. Until it was 30 minutes later and still no pizza. I asked what was going on and was told a communication error happened and my pizza was never made. I was told I would be given a discount (not sure how since I had paid already) and it would be out soon. I left the restaurant over an hour after ordering, with my pizza and nothing else. Got home and pizza wasn't as good as usual, as it was rushed and didn't seem as if it was cooked long enough. Really disappointed with my...
