The petty unprofessional rude irrational fat Mexican tried to rip me off by charging $.25 for a small box (the box biscuits, chicken, side goes in). So i changed my mind about buying two biscuits/i didn't give her my sale. I happened to be there while waiting on the bus. I never allow myself to get ripped off let alone feel ripped off. I left after taking out of my bag and while enjoying my tasty crunchy fried chicken i bought elsewhere with red skinned cut potatoes. As i chewed in her face i requested napkins, which her fellow fat Mexican co-worker handed to me. The employee's look like over-stuffed chickens with hair and no feathers. Except for the tall slender young guy the night i came there before, who GAVE me a small box with my 2 biscuits in it, and did not mention anything about a cost for it. And who ensured that my biscuits were the ones in the back of the row (freshest out of the oven).
They always have way too many biscuits, sides and piled high chicken sitting out under the lamps. They most likely do not get much traffic and intentionally cook it to bring it home for themselves instead of sharing it at nights end with the homeless men sleeping on the ground outside of the door near and at the bus stop.
The so-called dining area immensely unwelcoming, unclean, and small. And no heat on. Who can enjoy eating in cold seating areas, let alone unclean?
They're behind what seems to be bullet proof windows.
Their chicken has no flavor at this location. A fried chicken franchise should not allow Mexicans to...
Read moreI didn't have too bad of an experience from this spot but the restaurant was a tad bit unclean and they didn't have a bathroom for customers. I Wall d in normally and the guy at the register was alert. He didn't greet me but he was alert. I asked to purchase one biscuit, he suggested the 3 promotion. So I got three. I then decided to get a drink A strawberry Blast, he didn't ask me what size I wanted but pulled out a large cup so I guess there was only one size. He gave me honey for my biscuits and a straw. I then proceeded to a table in the back of the extremely small restaurant and to my surprise the tables were dirty all of them. So I kindly reapproached the register and asked the employee to clean the table or if he could get someone else to. He proceeded without hesitation but with some hesitation and cleaned the table. Then there was a man I don't even know where he came from. He just started ordering the guy to clean more tables but he only did one of the 4 other tables outside of the one I was going to be having my Meal. The employee returned to his register and the man started asking the employee if he was ordering food and if he paid for the food he ordered. The employee made a mumbled response but I could not hear. They don't offer dine in WiFi or any customer service tools. But good biscuits and very good lemonade, bad to see this business...
Read moreThis Church's is always serving good chicken hot and ready, and I never got a bad batch so far. There is a good amount of breading, but it's well fried and I like it. Chicken is always cooked thoroughly, even though they serve up large pieces.
Mashed potatoes and gravy is good if you like the puree. It's not chunky here.
Honey biscuits are amazing and are great every time. Must-have if you're ordering from here.
Coleslaw is pretty good here. Not too mayonnaise-y, just enough of everything. Similar to KFC slaw.
And they give you Texas Pete's hot sauce if you ask. I love vinegar hot sauces on my fried chicken.
They have some deals on their window, but you can also look online for a coupon. You can comfortably feed 3 for $30, $10 / person.
There's space to dine-in, which is nice to have. They serve customers quickly and efficiently. The area is a little janky, but I will...
