MULLETS RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Norwalk

First off, disappointed that it’s not spelled out somewhere obvious that half their menu (the breakfast items) are not available after a certain time. We first picked this place because we thought it was all day breakfast. We ordered cheese curds as an app. Any semi large pieces were still frozen on the inside. We were starving though and ate what we could. Because we were told the breakfast items we wanted were not available at that time, we picked other entrees. My boyfriend got biscuits and gravy and thought it was okay. I got the barnyard burger. Pretty dry with the combo of ingredients so I had to ask for bbq sauce to try to help. The burger patty had good seasoning though. The service was friendly, but didn’t really check on us after we got food items. They may have been busy transitioning between shifts or something. My wife and I went a little late for a dinner. Was seated right away and asked what drinks we would like. Perfect beginning! Brought our water pretty quick! Asked if we was new to the restaurant, yes we are! Our server gave an introduction and told us about specials and that breakfast was available anytime. She gave us time to look over the menu! Came back within 5 minutes to check on us. We ordered a couple of drinks and received them quickly! We ordered at that point. My wife ordered the Gringo Burger w/ Mac & Cheese and pasta salad. I ordered the Cajun Po Boy w/ Garlic smashed tators! The only thing wrong with any of it was they forgot the aioli sauce for my sandwich. Personally, they should just put it on the sandwich. Our server brought it right out when I asked about it.

We arrived at a busy Saturday lunch time, with softball tournaments going on at the adjacent complex, but we were seated immediately when we offered seats at the bar. The bartender who took our order was helpful and friendly and checked on us often. There were 4 or 5 televisions in the bar area as well. Our Steak Salad and Pork Tenderloin & Onion Rings did not take long to be delivered. The food and service were great. It was a busy place while we were there with many softball families grabbing a meal between games. The staff handled several larger groups with ease. There was some outdoor seating and an attached arcade room. It was a fun environment and had some interesting things on the menu that will be fun to try in the future, including the cinnamon roll pancake. We...
