Cafe Nomad — Restaurant in Norway

I really tried giving this place a chance. Ive gone multiple times and almost everytime I am slightly disappointed. First I wish they opened earlier like true barrista fashion, but they don't open till 7am which already limits my chances to go to this place, but that's not a problem as I won't be going anymore. the guy at the front is very kind, but the lady making food outback is rude & i mean RUDE. She is not accommodating at all and clearly is miserable to be there. I think there eggs are gross, I've seen them pour their eggs out of a giant container, clearly made the day before or longer. The eggs also have no taste to them, it's quite unpleasant. I've ordered their spicy breakfast sandwich a few times and each time I ordered it they forget to put the spicy sauce on it. I am wicked bummed with this place as it's the only one in town, and it's clear they know that and they definitely take advantage...

I actually really love the food from cafe nomad, their breakfast sandwiches are amazing and their omelets are awesome. But I'm very frustrated that in the past three times I've tried eating there, especially to bring some friends who have never tried cafe nomad, we have been greeted buy a closed sign when it was ordinary business hours. Very frustrating since we drive nearly half an hour every time to get there. Today was especially irritating because there was a sandwich board that said "closed today" while their website says they're open, and on top of all that, there were employees in the cafe behind the counter!! This won't stop me from going back, but I don't think my friends who I've tried to bring 3 time are interested...

Love this place! They hang local art that rotates regularly to feature local artist, the vibe is always great, and the food is delicious and they offer gf bread and take my dairy allergy seriously and make sure that they don’t have cross contamination. Big shout out to Caroline one of the employees who remembers that I’m gf and df and looks out for me when I accidentally order something that isn’t safe for me! That kind of service is above and beyond expectations! My favorite sandwich is the crooked river breakfast sandwich without cheese and on the gf bread. It comes with a spicy mayo sauce, egg, and Avacado. And it’s always made perfectly. I also highly recommend the iced Earl grey tea with the lavender...
