In my experience most pizza places that serve slices, cut a large pizza into 6 slices, some even do 4, instead of the 8 for the whole pizzas,so when you buy a slice you are getting at least 1&1/2 regular slices. Here they do not do that, so I was underwhelmed by the amount of food that you get. On this day I could not see the pizza from my vantage point so I asked what they had. I was told Cheese, Margarita and a meat pizza what I thought she said was chicken, bacon and ranch. So I said give me one of each (I was particularly hungry this lunchtime). It was then when she was pulling them from the rotating warming rack that I could see the size of the slices. I noticed they were quite small for the price (in my opinion) so I said I'll actually just take 2. Please give me the Margarita and the meat pizza. Once the pizza was heated and handed to me I realized that I had mis heard her it was not chicken, bacon, ranch it was chicken, bacon and ham, a combination I'd never had before The the chicken was also battered and fried. So it was an interesting pizza, but not my favorite.
As for the quality of the( pizza, the dough was crispy and chewy, the way I like Italian styl pizza) the cheese was pleasant not greasy (like cheap cheese) but really I did not enjoy the 2 slices that I chose. All in all I give the pizza 6 out of 10 better than average but not much better on this occasion (in my opinion), and the slices were small for the money.
But the saving grace was in service. As I was there waiting an elderly woman walked in and asked if she could have a slice of mushroom pizza. The woman said "We have these 3 slices to choose from." and explained what they were. To which the women responded "So what's the answer yes or no?" So the woman said she'd ask and as she walked away. Not knowing if she couldn't hear the woman behind the counter or simply couldn't understand her, I tried to help and explain to the woman the way that business usually do slice and how they will have pizzas ready for slices and you get to choose from them. Surprisingly when the woman returned she said "We can do that for you.". So they were able to accommodate this woman and make a special slice just for her. I thought that was very nice for them to take the time to do that so, kudos to them for that.
I know that this place has the potential to make you a great pizza because the ingredients were top notch. I just ordered things that I personally did not like the flavor profile of. Next time I will order ahead and hopefully will...
Read moreGood place but could be better ! Train the attendants to repeat the customer order , specially when over the phone to avoid mistakes like :wheat wrap when I said white , grill chicken when I said fried (make sure the cooker will do the job right ) imagine how I felt when im hungry I open my food expecting one thing and it's a completely different thing ! Plus when cutting the chibatta bread don't split it off cuz it will be hard for the customer to keep the ingredients inside the sub ! Other than that good place ! Fix that ang get...
Read moreTerrible! We ordered delivery. They quoted us at 45 minutes. The food arrived an hour and a half later the food was completely cold. Not warm, COLD. I called and asked to speak with a manager and was told "it's too busy". We ordered spicy chicken fingers and no vegetables were included. We've ordered them before and vegetables were always included. Overly expensive and poor quality and poor customer service. I'd never order from Blue Moon again. ...
