On 7/22 I ordered via doordash and paid for 1 medium pizza plus 1 garlic cup….i did not receive the garlic cup i paid for. honest mistake no issue….so today 8/1 i order again this time again through doordash and I then phone in to the store to ensure I get my garlic cup this time (as i’m again ordering 1 pizza and 1 garlic cup)…. as well while i’m on the phone i request that the capone sauce which comes standard with every pizza be swapped out for a garlic as well and they provide plates and napkins….the guy on the phone tells me he can make the change but in the future they “cant be doing changes to any orders placed through door dash over the phone”. Here’s the thing there is no place on door dash to add special requests in fact it specifically says the store does not accept special requests on door dash…however that makes zero sense seeing as how when you order directly from romeo’s app. you have the ability to input changes like deducting capone sauce and adding garlic….again as well it’s not a special request for me to request that i receive something i’ve paid for, like the additional garlic cup. the guy on the phone says i should “ask my door dasher for these things and hope for the best”. it’s not door dashes responsibility to make sure i get the things i’ve paid for, it’s romeo’s responsibility to give door dash my complete and correct order and door dash’s responsibility to deliver it to me. in the future i would appreciate romeo’s being a little more empathetic and willing to help without the passive aggressive condescending attitude. when my order came today despite calling no napkins, no plates, no garlic instead capone….can’t tell me it wasn’t purposely done this time. spoke to supposed manager “Aleci” (spell check) when i called in...
Read moreProbably the worst experience I’ve had here :-( I placed an order at 7:32pm with an estimated delivery of 8:07pm. The driver didn’t arrive until 8:24pm, and the order was completely wrong. Both the driver and I called the store, and they promised the correct order would be sent within 10 minutes.
By 8:54pm, another driver showed up — but instead of the full order, I was handed just rock-solid, stale cinnamon sticks. Still no pizza. The driver apologized and said he’d call it in again.
My pizza finally showed up at 9:15pm — nearly two hours after ordering. I paid over $30, for pizza & cinnamon sticks; and while the food eventually arrived, the experience was extremely frustrating, especially being 24 weeks pregnant and having not eaten all day.
For the record, everything is documented on our Blink camera, so the timeline and deliveries are clear.
I do want to add: both drivers were very polite and kind. The issue wasn’t with them — it was with the store’s handling of the order. Management really needs to address how orders are being prepared and double-check accuracy before...
Read moreRomeo's Pizza at 3189 Hilliard-Rome Rd. is a busy take-out pizza business with many customers.
I spent twenty minutes or so on a rainy evening recently [2-7-2019] waiting for a friend to pick me up after I had taken a #71 "Hilliard Express" COTA bus to the intersection of Hilliard-Rome Rd. and Tinapple Rd.
The sidewalk immediately outside of Romeo's has an overhang so I had been able to stand out of the rain while waiting for my friend to pick me up there.
Romeo's offers only take-out service but they also deliver. There is a metal bench in their ordering/waiting area but no tables. There are definitely no outdoor tables [as Google Maps had asked me after my recent visit].
During my twenty-minute wait for my friend to pick me up, several people had ordered pizzas, had picked up those pizzas, and then had left; several Romeo's employees had left in their cars to deliver pizzas and then had returned.
Romeo's is certainly a busy place. And they let me stand on their covered sidewalk for about twenty minutes...
