Manny's Pizza Plus — Restaurant in Norwich

Update: I was a customer for years but the quality has dropped drastically and I am not sure what happened. Had to try 3 separate times to get a simple pepperoni calzone. First attempt, the outside was nice and golden but the inside was still cold and the cheese wasn't even melted, attempt 2 I got home and it was filled with ham and pineapple, 3rd attempt I cut it open in the store to make sure it was properly cooked and had the correct filling. This was not a complicated order and should be easy money and I was so disappointed. On top of the calzone issues we also got overcooked almost black chicken tenders and one of my family had food poisoning from a tuna melt there. Quality has gone way down and the attitude from the owner was very discouraging when I called with these concerns and even insinuated at one point that he didn't believe me.

I worked in a pizza house for over a decade, so when we order take out which is very rare, it's usually not pizza. We've ordered from Manny's before and the food has always been good, always! Let me tell you something...I ordered the steak pizza. It comes with onions and peppers. I wasn't sure if it was made with raw onions and peppers, but it was made with roasted peppers, yum, and CARAMELIZED onions, double...no TRIPLE yum! This pizza was amazing!!!.I'm quite serious when I say that I could eat that pizza every day. Every single day!! I'll be hard pressed to order anything else, but chicken alfredo pizza sounds oh so yummy as well! Thanks to everyone who is working during this trying time, and thanks for curbside delivery....

Very disappointed with our dinner. I placed a phone order for pickup, with an expected 15-20 minutes for it to be ready. Upon arrival, I am informed that the kitchen has run out of veal, and they accidentally erased my phone number so they couldn’t call and notify me. I arrive, choose something else, settle up my bill and they charge me full price for all the items. Upon arriving home, our chicken tenders were hard, almost impossible to eat, the fries were cold, the shrimp were almost overdone, and the fries were also cold. The cup of clam chowder was passable, would have been better if potatoes were peeled. $60 wasted on unsatisfactory food! Won’t be ordering from them again! Very disappointed, would...
