DeluxeGrill — Restaurant in Norwood

I always prefer small businesses as it's my background. A small hole in the wall that's packed is a good sign. Went in, booths and tables were full so I was the only patron at the counter so you couldn't miss me. Waited 10 minutes and no one acknowledged me. They were extremely busy so I decided to give them an extra 5 minutes before leaving. Just as I started standing the cashier asked if I had been waited on yet. I told her no, I was just leaving but she apologized and took my order. I ordered a meat and 2 vegetable plate. It was served immediately COLD. Also noticed cashier immediately handling food after handling register with no gloves and didn't wash hands. Might give them a 2nd chance but will speak up if the food is cold. Not a great first time...

I took my friend here. She just got out of the military. And used to love going to the Deluxe grill. But this time it was not great. She got the wrong drink and I got tea that was bad we told them it was bad and no one poured it out and we waited over 20 minutes for some chicken tenders Mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese and hush puppies. Mac and cheese and the mashed potatoes were cold. The Hush Puppies were cold. The only thing good that we had was chicken tenders. This is sad being there was only 1 other...

Great food, great service and it reminds me of my moms home cooking while I'm out of town working.. the waitresses are friendly and smiling and I have never had the staff mess up any order I have gotten.. every employee there treats everybody as if they were family. I have no complaints @ all. & if any of the staff reads this then smile and keep up the great work and the amazing food. This is 1 of your Piedmont regulars. See you all Tuesday at lunch hopefully.
