Friday January 13th, 2023 We got the same waitress as January 5th. Her name is Lisa and yet again, VERY helpful with double checking on gluten food & was on her A game.
Me & the girls got crab cake turf, 6oz filet mignon, & salmon Oscar. Holy sh*tballz, everything was SO SCRUMPTIOUS. Erin Pub always worth the visit. Nothing but an amazing experience every single time! Pictures included of our food this time.
My only complaint is HOW HARD THE SEATS ARE. I had to get my cushion from the seat because the seats are ridiculously hard & UNCOMFORTABLE. Please fix this! Thursday January 5th, 2023 Since our last visit, I've been diagnosed with Celiac disease. Erin pub has dozens of Celiac safe and gluten free options! I got the Erin chicken - so delicious! It's chicken, cheese, mushrooms, bacon & seasonings. It's also really healthy, too! There are similar meals at Outback/Texas Roadhouse & Erin's pub version blows theirs out of the water! Everyone was very happy with their food. Even my 4 year old son's spaghetti meal was HUGE, & included two HUGE dense meatballs. He loved it. We will be back sooner than another 3 years 💞
Ps Idk what our waitresses name was but she was WONDERFUL. Service is always great at Erin Pub! Saturday March 7th, 2020 I had the salmon oscar meal with high hopes! The salmon, crab, & sauce were heavenly - they without a doubt didn't disappoint! However, the asparagus was WAY overcooked & completely mushy. Side of baby carrots were glazed in some type of amazing butter sauce. Coleslaw was average, would not order again.
My husband's crab cake had some type of filler, giving it an odd texture similiar to mashed potatoes, but he was happy with the taste regardless. His 7 seas soup was spicy but also really good. Apparently its different every single day, always made with 7 types of seafoods based on whatever is fresh that day - creative!
My best friend got chicken parm, which was so on point that I'm ordering that next time!
Overall, I would have rated our meals 4 out of 5 but the tipping point of giving a 5 stars was definitely our waitress Melissa. I wish everytime I went to a restaurant that my waitress was either like her or actually her. She was super friendly, attentive, got our entire meal correct & didn't forget anything. Our drinks were always full and she never disappeared or made us feel forgotten about like a lot of waiters/waitresses do at other restaurants. She actually brought out dessert first with our coffee like we asked, & brought me a bunch of lemons for my water too. Guys, keep this gal and give her a f*cking raise - we're requesting her next time we come in.
Cheers, Erin Pub. I'll see ya on...
Read moreThe Erin Pub in Norwood is a wonderful place for friends and family. For as long as I can remember this is the place our family gathers to celebrate the big and small events in life. It seems to always be the place we choose after a funeral to tell stories and celebrate the person we lost. The food is consistently on point. I don't think I've ever had to send anything back or even complain. They have a nice menu that give a good variety without having so many choices that you think it must be (yuck) premade frozen. Three dishes that stand out for me are their chicken parmesan, ham and cabbage and last but not least their very own namesake dish Erin chicken. The portions are so generous you really don't need anything more but Erin's goes that extra step. You get a choice of two sides with all main dishes. The creamed coliflower is amazing and other than at my mom's this is the only place I've ever had peas and fried pearl onions. Yummy. As far as prices go it's very affordable. Especially considering how much food you get. I went on St. Patrick's day with a party of five last week. We each had different appetizers before our main dishes. Even with drinks our bill was roughly $130. I thought it was wrong till I made sure all items were listed on the check. It was a meal and atmosphere worth much more. If you haven't been there before give it a try. You will leave happy and full. If it's been a while since you've gone then make sure you remedy that. You already know it's worth the wait if you forget to make a...
Read moreI would have given this review 5 stars, but my latest experience with my family and elderly Aunts was atrocious. The hostess a blonde young lady was so rude I was floored. We had reservations for 6:30 we walked in at 6:31 (my aunt uses a walker) She said she called me multiple times after 6:30 and gave the table away. I had no missed calls and how do you call multiple times in one minute? It wasn’t that busy there, were no parties of 10, and I waitressed half my life so I am well aware of table top set ups etc. My 86 year old Aunt asked when the table would be ready and the young lady said to her “you were all late we are putting something together” “it’s not my problem so don’t be late next time”. Well I told her to watch her mouth and not speak to my Aunt that way. I spoke to the manager and he did NOTHING. We have had baby showers, funeral parties, and go there often for dinner and lunch. I’m disgusted this young lady chose to speak to an old woman in a walker in this manner and also see the manager didn’t do a thing. If you’re employees cannot handle customer service don’t put them forward facing with all customers coming in the door. I love this restaurant but am amazed the owners or management are OK with this. Won’t be going back any time soon, not having any additional parties. Aside from that the rest of wait staff was great. Really sad one bad apple ruins a bunch, but you should know this young lady should not be working there, lots of your customers are elderly. It...
