Ngick Design — Local services in Norwood

I'm not one to write reviews, at all! Found on google search, called and asked if I could bring my bridesmaid dress in to get hemmed and the lady who answered seemed very nice and told me to come the next day. I am driving to the place the next day not being able to find the place because I wasn't told it was a home and not a store, I call and she answered the phone in a very low voice but anyway I say I'm on my way I just wasn't sure if it was a house or a store and she said house and I said ill be there shortly. I finally find the house and I'm not judging but it looked very run down, so I sat out front for a bit cause I didn't feel comfortable just walking up to this house... you would think maybe she would have the door open or at least waiting by it for me.. nope. so anyway I call and I believe I was sent to voicemail, so I drove away. Needless to say, this experience was sketchy and I don't recommended anyone going to this home. I do see some nice reviews (not one bad, which makes me think) sorry if I'm wrong but maybe I'm not sorry and safe and sound.

Update: on google maps it says the address is 403 W Amosland which is where I went, but if you click on "see outside" on google, the house says 401 W Amosland and the house doesn't look as sketchy. Weird part is which house is it...... and why are the addresses...

I searched for months for the perfect dress for my son’s wedding. Finally found it, on eBay, of all places! The dress fit but was made for someone much taller than I, so it needed alterations. A seamstress in the Media area was recommended. She couldn’t schedule a fitting for 6 weeks. When I finally went for my fitting, she told me she couldn’t make the dress work for me. I was devastated! There was only 4 weeks until the wedding! My son-in-law suggested I get a second opinion. I called Maggie of Ngick Designs. Despite being booked-up, she saw me that night! She said altering my dress would be no problem. Despite being swamped with other dresses, all of which were needed for the same weekend as mine, Maggie did a fabulous job and got the dress back to me more than a week ahead of the wedding. She is a master at her craft, hard-working and compassionate. I can’t recommend Ngick...

I was referred to Maggie by my old seamstress who has since left the game (lol) and I couldn't have been more happy! I am a busy bee and as a result a week and a half before the date, I hadn't gotten my bridesmaid dress altered for my best friends wedding. I was worried about time even though it was just a hem but Maggie was so sweet and had it done perfectly in about 3 days!! When I arrived to pick it up it looked gorgeous, she had steamed it for me and it made the excitement of the wedding that much more real! I am so pleased and will be referring my friends to her in the future and she is my new seamstress for anything else I need! Thank you Maggie for making this wedding experience smooth...
