The manager here is by far the worse. We never had an issue until he came here. Being a loyal customer for 4 years. We parked our extra vehicle here and now mysteriously our car cover have been completely off all the time. Ask the manager about this and he don't know. The premises states that servalance is 24 hours and he says it's not recording pass certain vehicles. By the way the cars parked for storage is not behind a secure gate. Previous managers or agents always gave a courtesy call if something was wrong. Unless he was clearly lying about the recorded. Next my husband wanted to fix something on his car and the manager told him couldn't that's fine. But when we see another man working in his boat that rule should apply to all. I told the manger about that issue and said " different rules for different people" he's screaming saying I'm calling him a racist. Absolutely not. I don't care what nationality the man with the boat is same rules should apply to all. Not pick and choose. Then he goes to say a boat is not a vehicle..... yes it very well is. This is clearly discrimination. He did not want to renew my husband monthly lease. Because of what I said and brought to his attention by the way my husband did not say 1 thing to him!! All complaints that we had he states that's the owner problem. No it's your problem if you are the property manager. He's actions should be addressed. Called up management waiting...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI use this storage facility for years When I went to pick up my furniture on December 30th 2023 the locker was infested with feces and urine from mice or rats. The stench was so bad I was sick for days after. Not only that but I lost almost everything in my unit that I have paid and obscene amount for over the years. When I did the insurance claim that the unit provides when you get the locker in case of an infestation I was paid the maximum of $400. Since there was $100 deductible. Furthermore I had to remove all of the items from that locker which was toxic to human health. I have lost thousands and thousands of dollars that I am now forced to eat or hire a lawyer. The employee at the unit told me the storage unit was having trouble with rodent issues and they never informed any of the people who have their things store there that that's the case. A picture is worth a thousand words. Somebody should reach out to me immediately in regards to the situation and fix the problem and pay me the money that I'm owed. I will be contacting a lawyer and the Corporate office. I can only hope I save other people from this experience. BTW I gave 1 ā because that's the only way that I could make this post by...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI can't say enough good things about Life Storage in Glenolden. From my 1st day there, the manager Gina has been amazing, & literally EVERY single staff member I've interacted with has been courteous, professional, & helpful.
In addition to renting a spot here, I was renting space at another place in Drexel Hill (Axis Waverly). I had the opposite experience. I had to cart my belongings along an uneven floor; the place was musty & dank; there were bugs & insects. When I get busy, Gina calls to help me AVOID a late charge; Axis gives me a "courtesy call" on the 1st day that the late charge is applied. The manager & staff at that Axis location are friendly & helpful, but suffice it to say that I've rented another unit at Life Storage & moved my belongings there.
If there are any entrepreneurs or small business owners out there that want to bone up on their customer service model, I'd encourage you to try & learn a thing or 2 from this location (probably the other locations, too, but I can't personally vouch for them). I never leave reviews online anywhere, but I'm happy to leave this review for Gina & the staff at Life Storage...
