The Donut Works — Restaurant in Novato

Donuts are garbage here. Cheap ingredients. Cheap rude owners. This is the kind of place that advertises no free refills on coffee even if you’re dining there. And the service sucks. I went here and spent $9 on donuts (put in 4 sleeves). There was a $0.50 charge to use the debit machine. I paid it without question. Then the machine (not the rude owner) asked if I’d like to tip, I added $1.50 tip. The snarly woman working there completed the transaction and walked away. I asked for a bag and she said it would cost $0.10 for a bag to hold the four sleeves of donuts…even though I tipped her for absolutely nothing more than neighborly generosity. The donuts were made with equally cheap ingredients. I will be going to Safeway for my donuts now and never to this...
