This was the worst dining experience in my 77 years on this planet. We arrived at 6:30 after attending the San Marin High School Graduation Ceremony. After being seated we waited: 35 minutes just to place a drink order. 55 minutes to place our food order. Almost two hours to receive our meals which arrived haphazardly over a 10 minute span. One bathroom was out of order with no sign. The operable bathroom had run out of toilet paper. No one in the intervening two hours checked to see if anyone wanted anything else to drink. Both daughters and both son-in-laws had to go to the bar for the additional drinks. Our granddaughter, the graduate, had to leave most of her dinner because she had to be back at the school by 9:00pm for the “Safe and Sober” Grad Night. We complained to the onsite manager about the appalling lack of concern and he stated he would “work with us on the bill.” When I went to settle the bill he claimed he couldn’t do anything and that we had to talk to the owner. After three days the owner has failed to respond in any way. We wasted almost $500.00 on a lousy meal with atrocious service and a management team that couldn’t care less. We were a party of 14 plus another San Marin family of 9, their daughter missed her meal too, who never return to this...
Read moreI went here for lunch the other day it was delicious! I ordered the meatball and sausage sandwich for lunch with a side of fries. The first time, my sandwich came out cold in the middle. I informed the waitress and she promptly took the food back and apologized. A few minutes later, my food came out, hot this time, and it was excellent. The bread was nice and crunchy, the meatball, sausage, and marinara all went so well together. Plus, the melted cheese!! I will be going back and ordering it again. The French fries were super crunchy and hot, 10 out of 10 French fry. The service was excellent despite my sandwich being cold the first time and they even gave me a discount on the price. That is what I call excellent customer service. I will definitely be going back and trying the other items on the menu, this is a place...
Read moreTHE place for Italian food in Novato. Need a hideaway to go to for drinks, wine, and food? Go to the Village! They will without a doubt (just so you know, if your hostile when speaking to them, they'll cold shoulder you and your orders), Accommodate all of your needs for weddings to office parties, birthday parties and well other parties. The food and drinks are actually on even footing when compared to Mary's Pizza Shacks' PRICES. Way better good though (just no pesto fresco bread sticks though). 6 years later..... Same old cozy den. Still coming here for my kids now and tradition and nostalgia are still here. Still amazing food. Also the above is still my same reply. ( Bro I'm telling you now that I'm drinking more I still notice I have left over cash but you didn't read that......
