Found a new Japanese market with a cafe inside selling onigiri and Japanese crepes! OneZo is also inside selling boba drinks and I noticed they sell Japanese fruit sandwiches! Will definitely be back to try those! @Hers Zakka Market & Onezo Cafe 📍HERS Zakka Market and OneZo Cafe, 24100 Meadowbrook Rd, Novi, MI 48375 #herszakkamarket #onigiri #novimichigan #japanesecrepe #fruitsandwich

Disclaimer: I went on opening day, so they were pretty busy and seemed to still be adjusting. Take this review with a lot of grace. I'm hoping that a lot of improvements will be made by the time I go back. I had the Onezo Boba Milk Tea, which I chose oolong tea, 50% sugar, less ice, and with brown sugar boba. Way too sweet in my opinion. If you plan to get the brown sugar boba, then you may want to get 0% sugar. I would prefer a different boba flavor with 25% sugar instead. I got the Onezo Fruit Tea with 50% sugar and less ice. It has 3 different fruit syrups, which may have been mango, grapefruit, and some other fruit I forgot. They added soda water and I can't remember if there's any actual tea in it. Since it's made with fruit syrups, I'm not sure if they can actually adjust the sweetness level though. It was pretty good and I wouldn't mind getting it again as it is. I also ordered the sweet potato sandwich, which turned out to be a Taiwanese-style pancake filled with sweet potato mousse and cheese. This threw me off a ton. It was very different from what the menu showed and it didn't mention anything about the cheese on the menu. I brought it up with them in hopes that they'd change it on the menu. It wasn't bad at first, but became a bit to overwhelming near the end. I don't plan on getting it again. Lastly, I ordered the lunch set, which was overall good and filling. The meal sets seem to be made fresh by the staff and prices are good. Keep in mind that they run out of certain onigiri. The pork miso soup has a lot of other fillings as well, which was nice. It seems to have had burdock root and konjac jelly. My order ended up taking an hour or more to come out and they got my order wrong. I adjusted the onigiri to be spicy tuna mayo, which is $1 extra, but got the standard salt and tuna mayo instead. When I asked them about it, they ran out of rice to make the adjustment. I didn't mind in the end since I technically did get the 10% off coupon they gave for opening day. The owner came by to apologize and mentioned that there was some sort of miscommunication in the kitchen which led to my food coming out late and the mistake. They also gave me a filled punch card for a free drink. TL;DR - Drinks were on the sweeter side, so I recommend adjusting as you prefer. Sweet potato sandwich is not a sandwich, but a Taiwanese-style pancake with cheese in it. Meal sets are good. There were some issues and mistakes, but hoping that they'll improve.

Its my second time going here. The first time was the day after the soft launch and the boba and food was good but my friend didnt get a supreme chocolate bubble waffle they got a regular one instead and we had to wait 15 minutes for new tapioca pearls to be made but it ended up being over half an hour. This second time I was here I spent an extra 80 cents for the boba and extra 50 or so for the popping bubbles but I get nothing but the popping bubbles. I wasnt asked to get substitued something else or that it wasnt availible. My name was also pronounced wrong. Im hoping the next time I come back I get more of what I bought and the people making the drink pay attention more instead of rushing to get drinks out as soon as possible. At least the atmosphere is nice, the furniture is comfy and the music is good.

Very aesthetic cafe and clean; however service was not very good. Yes, they just opened, and I’m not sure if they were short staffed, but service was subpar. I waited 40 minutes for my drink order. There was only one person completing beverage orders. Took her time at the beginning, but I think once she realized the backup of orders on the counter, she finally started hustling. Girl at the register helped understand the beverage menu. However, they really need more people behind the register to prepare orders, and a better system in completing them. And to top it off, my order was not made correctly. I requested less ice - got almost a full cup of it. Very little mango bits (I ordered the mango milk tea). Just a little disappointed. Beverage still tasted good and menu prices are fair. Will try again in the future, but there needs to be a better system in place in...
