Kitchen begins last call around 9, a whole hour before close, so you feel quite rushed and can tell the waitresses want to leave as they clean up around you. My squid leg appetizer showed up after the sushi and was burnt, rubbery and very hard to chew. You pay 15-18 dollars for mediocre sushi in a disappointingly small portion, if I had gone to a place like Doraku in Honolulu I would have received better sushi and double the amount for around the same price. I had to ask for soy sauce as it was not on table. Music way too loud, makes conversation difficult without getting loud. To top it all off, after I left no tip for the subpar service and child sized portions of sushi one of your waitresses ran out after me to guilt me and my wife for a tip. I don't recommend...

The only thing is the service at the Kailua location can feel a bit rushed. They’re super busy (which says a lot about how good the food is), but it can be a little overwhelming. That’s why I actually prefer the Kaneohe location — it’s less crowded, the service is faster, and you still get the same top-quality food.
Definitely worth a visit, just plan ahead if you’re going to the...
