The young man who chops the roast pork and charsui is friendly and smiles. However lucky if you can get the same response from the female. ** The roast pork is excellent, however this is the first Chinese restaurant that I have shopped at that commands a minimum of half a pound when purchasing either char sui or roast pork. You cannot combine the two to make 1/2 pound ** They must feel confident in their store to dictate how customers may purchase their products. A minimum of three pork hash? 1/2 pound minimum to purchase either roast pork or char sui? ** Manapua leaves much to be desired. The filling is is bland and is more like minced char sui. No way near the quality of Chinatown. The bread of the manapua is good, just not the filling ** Also no option to use credit card, cash only. Other cash only stores allow you to use a credit card with a surcharge This is a grin and bear it store if you want to...
Read moreUpdate 10/2020: I still love coming here for their manapua, pork hash, roast pork, and char siu. During covid, only 1 person in store at a time. Place is awesome as always.
Update: We ordered manapua for family to take off island... this place is winnahs! In my opinion, the taste and meat to bun ration was perfect. The pork hash was the best I've tasted in a long time. This is now my GO TO place for manapua, pork hash, and roast pork. Call to preorder larger orders. I hear the rice cakes is pretty good too. They were sold out of those when I got there :(
Prices are not too bad either. I'll gladly pay these prices for great food from a family owned restaurant. Support local! And they stay open late!
Old: Wasn't too bad. The roast pork was pretty crispy. The char siu was good too. They have a whole bunch of Chinese food down there. Prices are pretty decent.
Better than travelling all the way down...

[FOOD] There is ROAST PORK hanging in the window and CHARSIU in pans. You order it by the pound or you can get a ROAST MEAT PLATE with a choice of a starch (either fried rice or chow mein). They also have different things already made in the warmers ala Panda Express but 100 times better. Personal favorite is the MAPO TOFU.
[SERVICE] No complaints here. Nice, fast and friendly service.
[PARKING] Huge parking lot. All of the times we have went we have not had a problem finding a parking spot.
[NOTE] It’s only take out, there are no tables...
