The tour experience was satisfactory, albeit with a few areas for improvement. Firstly, the weather conditions were unfavorable, with rainfall occurring at the beginning of the tour. Additionally, the designated pickup location in front of the Ilikai Hotel was not the actual pickup spot as they tell you it is, resulting in passengers waiting in the rain without shelter.

As mentioned in other reviews, the tour made numerous stops at tourist attractions that appeared to be primarily geared towards generating revenue. The rationale behind some of these stops was unclear, and it raised questions about potential kickbacks or incentives. Unfortunately, I did not obtain the name of our tour guide as he failed to state his name during the tour. However, I recall him referring to the bus driver as "Uncle Neil."

During the tour, we stopped at a specific restaurant for lunch without being provided with alternative dining options. Despite the availability of other food options, the tour guide insisted on this particular establishment. After the meal, the guide requested that we review the restaurant by scanning a QR code on his phone and mentioning the name of our server.

The designated snorkeling location, referred to as a beach, was significantly smaller than anticipated and hardly resembled a traditional beach. The water was discolored due to the rainfall, but this was an unavoidable natural occurrence. Furthermore, the tour included an unnecessary stop at a fruit stand, which the tour guide stated his uncle worked at. This stop appeared to be solely for the benefit of the tour guide and not in the best interest of the tour...

Reasons why you just shouldn't use this company to tour the island:

  1. Jeremy, the tour guide, is way too charismatic and knowledgeable. He answers all your questions and adds so much detail and personal experiences, what a know-it-all!

  2. He gives the best recommendations for food and activities and tells you where the best hiddens gems in the island are. Likeee dude they are supposed to be secret!

  3. On top of it all, whenever we were at stunning beach locations, he would start playing his ukulele and ruin my view with his beautiful calming music. He also sings. How annoyingly talented, what a jerk!

  4. His kindness rubs off on you, that you cant help but be kind back and by the end of the tour he becomes your friend. He gives you a farewell hug and you think you will never see him again and the next morning while you are waiting for a bus he screams at you from his car to say hello. What a stalker!

  5. Don't even get me started with the bus driver, Neil, who was very hospitable. There were people that took their sweet a** time at each stop and he patiently waited on everyone instead of leaving them behind. Like hello, they could've taken a public bus back! And in the end, he drove us safe and sound back to Waikiki!

Definitely an unforgettable experience that no other tour anywhere else will be able to match. Way to ruin all my future vacations!

I would add more reasons why you shouldn't take this tour but I'm too busy exploring all of the hidden gems Jeremy...

Had the best time! This is the best tour I have gone on in Hawaii. Our tour guide & driver Mike was professional, fun, informative, and efficient. This was the most convenient, safe, and efficient option for someone like me. There is no way I could have reached all these destinations on my own. I get lost driving around my hometown. Lunch and Byodo Temple access went especially quick due to our tour guide’s pre-arrangements. I saw how long the other tour groups were waiting in line behind us. The tour itself allows for ample amount of time to enjoy each attraction. Not only did we get to swim, we saw plenty of turtles. Some swam all the way up to us and I was not expecting that close encounter at all. I learned a lot from Uncle Mike’s history lessons along the drive. I travelled by myself and I kept joking with him not to leave me behind. Everything was relaxing, safe, and peaceful. The other people on the trip were also very kind. I think it was due in large part to the fun atmosphere the tour guide/drive creates. Such a great value. For less than the price of 1 uber roundtrip or gas for 1 day, you get shuttled around, entertained and small history lessons. The seats are a comfortable padded leather. I would definitely book this trip again, and plan to try all the other activities this company...

I booked this for my spouse and I so we could see the whole island, but it was so much more than that. We learned some history and about the culture. The best part for me was stopping at all the local spots and supporting their businesses. There was one lady that sold the fried bananas with sugar, I rushed back for more before we got back on the bus. We were also ahead of all the tour buses. Our amazing tour guide, Noah, was good with timing and was very informative, kind, and funny. This should definitely be on your list of your going because you can support local businesses, eat good food, learn, and take in the beauty of the island all in a day. The last stop was a coffee shop, and the quality of that coffee has me already placing online orders from home. I really got to give it up to our bus driver Victor. I used to drive big trucks and that isn’t an easy task. He knew where every centimeter of that bus was and gave us a smooth ride. It’s also family friendly for those with kids. They have an itinerary on the page too.
