Tasty Korean BBQ — Restaurant in Oʻahu

Hole in the wall joint. Food is good but not the best. I gave it 3 stars for the convenience (since it is so close to where I was staying and they do open later than most places in that area). My go to for this little joint is the kalbi and bulgogi (do the kalbi). Service not the best. Very much like cafeteria style, you order your food at the counter and wait till they call your name to get. Atmosphere is very plan and simple not much to it. Be prepared sometimes it gets really smoky in there....

Classic Korean BBQ that us locals grew up with. This location is a true gem; the staff and Korean couple that own it are amazing and friendly. The food is a very generous portion, and the prices are super reasonable especially in this day and age of inflation. They are a solid establishment and I'm grateful they are in my neighborhood! I hope you'll visit and try them; they're the perfect example of the worth of supporting local businesses and not some mainland...

Food was super good and they give HUGE portions of food. Food does take quite a while to finish even when not busy but for the amount of food you get, it makes sense.
