Im proud to be apart of Petco as a customer. Doctor Morgan at the Kaneohe location Hawaii is amazing. Moving to a another location is hard especially with your beloved pets. Trying to find a good Veterinarian in your town is stressful. I was shopping at Petco with my husband not knowing about Vetco we normally would go to Petsmart for pet supplies . The reason is location Petsmart was closer to where we lived . I told my husband when we went to Petco im going to a grab brochure. I went hone and looked up on Google about Petco. Great ratings and great prices. When I first met Doctor Morgan and his staff I was so pleased. Friendly and caring. I felt so welcomed and knowing this is where I'm going to purchase my pet supplies ,grooming and a Veterinarian all in one place. I didn't know about the vetco app and wow this is amazing. When you purchase anything as well as the Vet clinic it all ties to your app. You can use your points towards the vet bill or any purchase. You can also make $24 a month payment . You enroll in the benefits for example check ups ,exams and if you need to see the Doctor without appointment ,providing if your Doctor is not busy at that moment but be patient they will see you. My husband and I would go to a local vet in our neighborhood.i just want everyone who reads this go to Petco/Vetco you will feel what I feel happy stress free knowing my two dogs are well taken care of. I don't know about anyone else, I get excited going to Petco.Thank you to all the staff and Doctor Morgan. You all are amazing human beings. Now the reason for 2 stars: I purchased a 50LB dog food container. The shelf said $59.99 but it scanned at $62.99 (no big deal) and I left to meet my Auntie in the parking lot. She had the app and scanned the bar code and it came up as $44.95!! So I downloaded the app and went back in the store receipt in hand (20 minutes later) 1:35PM purchased and 1:53PM for the exchange.
Upon being called to the register associate #366355 was exceptional unprofessional and rude. She told me she could not do the price adjustment without the item in my hands. (It was in the car in the parking lot) I asked her for her manager, she called and her manager said “no need for the item, he just purchased it” so she reluctantly had to do her job and from there on it was nothing but attitude. No eye contact, very short and stern remarks and direction. This was horrible customer service for something so simple. This employee needs some training before being allowed to help customers.
Other than that the store was semi clean and presentable. (Perhaps have your bothered employee take her frustrations out with a mop?) Some items were out of stock but with Covid everything seems to be running low or back ordered. So I tend to think that’s normal.

Read moreWe went for the free comprehensive exam that they advertised and they charged us for it. Also, I asked for two specific vaccines and they only gave one and we didn’t know about it until we got home and saw the receipt. We also asked for a referral for the heart worm medication called Sentinel and the doctor was supposed to talk to us about it but didn’t say anything about it and after my husband checked out they said oh yeah the doctor said he won’t approve the Sentinel because he’s not sure how much weight he’s going to gain. What!? My puppy is 13lbs and 12 weeks old. He is absolutely within the 10 - 25lbs requirement for the Sentinel. A product by the way that Petco sells! So why can’t my dog have it??! It’s what we want for him and a non negotiable from the breeder!! Also the comprehensive exam was nothing! It was literally two minutes in the room and he said almost nothing to my husband. $90 for that!! Now I have to go to another vet and pay another fee so I can get him his heart worm medication!! They could have told us that from the beginning when my husband got there and told them exactly what we wanted! We feel like they stole from us, they cheated us and we will never trust petco with our puppies ever again!!!! Just an awful experience all around! Wish I could give...
