The rudest manager I have ever met. the restaurant was only about 30% full and the hostess would not seat us at the table we wanted to sit at, even though 70% of the tables were empty. I asked her to ask the manager, and we still couldn't sit at the table we wanted. So, we decided to leave. On the way out, I stopped at the hostess desk and very politely asked her to pass along to the manager why we were leaving so that he would be aware. The manager came up behind me while I was telling her that and interrupted me saying to stop talking because he was aware of my opinion. He went on to say that he has been doing this for a long time and knows what he is doing. When I started to respond, he interrupted me again shouting "Stop talking!" and then, "Just leave!" I had made my request for the table very politely and was also very politely asking the hostess to let him know that we were leaving for that reason because if I were running a business, I would want to know why I had customers leaving before ordering. To be interrupted twice and yelled at and told to stop talking and just leave in the manor he did so was outrageous behavior, even verging on threatening. I will never return and will encourage all the groups I routinely go to sports bars with to never return. And I certainly do not recommend taking children to a place where they might learn such...
Read morePlace was very clean and bright for a "Sports Bar", so I find the title of "Family Grill" appropriate. I had the Buffalo Chicken Dip with housemade tortilla chips and A Pepsi. One bite and I realized I needed something stronger as a pallette cleanser, guess I should've known the dip was FIRE! THE BEST DAMN CHICKEN DIP PERIOD! My guest had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap (see a theme?) #aftermyheart Agrees that the dip is spicy as all get-out, and the wrap also lives up to one's expectations. Grabbed some of the Queen wings to go, and the homecoming was very well-received. The wings were barely on the table before they were pecked at and soon all had disappeared, leaving only the trash for an old man to throwaway! Aside from the personal hurt suffered by being left out of the 'Wing Thing", gotta go with 5 stars. Sunday, football on every TV, fans cheering, some booing, and nothing can keep our server from her job. She was very attentive and prompt, making the overall experience top notch! Definitely on my recommendation communication I share with my closest of...
Read moreMy son ordered wings for the Super Bowl (day of) and was told his pick-up time would be at 4:45pm. I was told that they were busy (understandable) my wait would be fifteen minutes. I WAITED FOR AN HOUR. While I (and many other people waited), orders were coming out about every 5-10 minutes (it was as if they were making them order-by-order and not in bulk). I sat and watched while 4 people stood around a cash register for lengths of time (when at least 2 of them could have been aiding the kitchen). Toward the end, a girl came in and said "I'm going to write everyone's name down (not ask what pick up time).
Again-- I understand the Super Bowl business is probably more than insane. But this was a very disorganized process and handled very poorly. In the future, I would recommend they put better processes in place beforehand.
That aside, I have always enjoyed B. Halls and recommend their food on a regular night. It's a great atmosphere and a great local...
