Mi Mexico lindo — Restaurant in O’Fallon

Mi Mexico Lindo is hands down our new favorite spot, my husband and I go weekly for the last 4 months! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the service was quick and friendly the whole time. The food is incredible—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The salsa and chips were the perfect start, and every dish that came out looked amazing and tasted even better. Portions are generous, so you never leave hungry. The atmosphere is colorful, lively, and full of great energy! It’s the kind of place you can go for a casual meal, a family dinner, or even a fun night out with friends. I honestly can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Mexican...

The dine in experience is better, but they have changed and made some stuff spicier than it was before. My husband’s mouth burned from the spicier seasoning they used this time on shrimp tacos. My husband likes hot food but this was overloaded with 🌶️ . I only eat crunchy beef tacos from there and they aren’t worth getting to go because there is so much moisture in the container that the crunchy tacos are soggy and you can’t even pick them up to eat them. My husband called to comment and they were rude and dismissive. We’ll drive further to get to Jose Penoz just to get quality food...

5 stars on all but the service and that's because they need more help. We were there at 2pm and they were slammed. It was just too much for 3 people. The food? I may never go back to a different Mexican restaurant; the food here is that good. I had the tatys special and I ate every bit of it. The others with me (9 people) ordered different things and they all said the same thing. Everyone was so friendly, joking with us, apologizing for being slow. It's definitely a place we will go for...
