Traveling and got into town late. Thought why not give it a try? I'll begin by saying the Roast Beef was excellent, it went downhill from there. Went through drive thru, and only got half my order. Salad and drink. Tried to call the restaurant at 636-329-4071, automated message and then phone hung up. So I went back about 10 minutes later to get the Roast Beef and fries. Guy at the drive up window says you drove off without your order? Yeah thanks maybe put the whole order in one bag? I ate one fry and said to myself this is terrible. Cold fries that had been sitting for a long while. Went back the following day around 6pm with the fries. After standing there for a couple of minutes listening as one employee was talking to the other about the need to "get the fries up". When I got served said to the person at the counter just what he said I need the fries up and that I was returning my order. Person at the counter looked blankly at me and said ok. Left the fries in a bag and the receipt on the counter. Thought maybe person would say sorry about that and offer something else. Really should be one star but did like the roast beef and the...
Read moreWent through drive , my order was $8.16. I handed the girl a $20 and 16 cents. Apparently I did not hand it to her correctly because she proceeded to yell please don’t do that then slam the drive thru window door. I watched her drop a penny on the floor after then pick it up and proceed to throw every cent I gave her in the drawer one by one while telling the other emloyees around her I shoved the change in her hand. She continued to talk poorly about me until she opened the window to hand me my food. I told her no I could hear everything she said and I just want my money back. She then started screaming I’m walking away and the manager came. I figured it would be easier to give her the 16 cents rather than give change back, I guess that is not the case. I can tell you I did not shove the money in her hand, she was just annoyed I gave her change. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but to blatantly talk about me so loud I could hear though the window is...
Read moreordered the classic roast beef sandwich and they were absolutely perfect—thinly sliced, juicy, and piled high on soft, fresh buns. The flavor was rich and smoky, and you could tell the meat was high quality. I added Swiss cheese and horseradish to one of them and couldn’t reminiscing about how great it was. I went for the au jus dip, and it took the sandwich to another level. The sides were just as impressive. I got their natural-cut fries, which were crispy and seasoned just right. I also grabbed a couple of their signature frozen custards for dessert, which was the perfect way to end the meal—smooth, creamy, and not too sweet.
What really stood out to us was how satisfying and affordable everything was. It felt like comfort food with an upscale twist. I left full, happy, and already talking about when I will come back. Lion’s Choice nailed...
