bAR eAST & eATS — Restaurant in Oak Creek

Hotel guest groups can pay to book the entire restaurant and bar, I discovered, so it would be closed to the public those nights, like it turned out to be this past Friday when I planned to visit. So I returned Saturday night, just to check it out, and found everything great. But I will always call ahead to make sure bAR eAST is open, and certainly that will cut down on my visiting while in town, and will reduce my recommending the venue to others (who might find the place closed just when they decided to go), and will limit my interest in booking stays at the Homewood Oak Creek because the presence and availability of a bar and restaurant could be key for me, depending on the circumstances. Joey was a great bartender/waiter. Small place, but plenty of room. Great pizza and the cheese curds ... are out of this world. Awesome having such a nice place connected to the hotel. We are just passing thru, if we lived in this state, I'd be here...
