10 out of 10 would never go here again!!! I made our reservation two days before arrival for 6 people at 6:30. We arrived maybe 2 minutes early and were told it would be just a moment to get our tables rearranged...10 minutes later we were finally seated. Not sure what the purpose of the reservation was for if they are just going to be unprepared anyways. We were seated right in front of the kitchen which is open and you can see the line cooks and the food prep station where food is picked up. There were 2 ,I am assuming managers, standing at the food prep station berating the line cooks almost constantly. We could hear the arguments from the table and food seemed to be sitting there for very long periods of time. We should have known then to walk out, but we stayed unfortunately. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive (perhaps their only redeeming quality). We ordered appetizers and drinks first. Our drinks took almost 15 minutes to show up and the waitress informed us there was a large party at the bar. We then ordered our entrees, and most of us ordered steaks. Approximately 1 hour later the food shows up. We immediately ask for A-1 steak sauce and were told they are out but they had Heinz 57 (definitely not even comparable). All of the steaks were incredibly small for the prices and not a single one was cooked the way it was ordered. My husband's was even cold to the touch. We then asked our waitress to speak to a manager. One came over to our table and asked what the complaint was .We only said we didn't understand how a steakhouse could be out of A-1 to which she replied "Because our steaks are so good you don't even need A-1". While this could not be farther from the truth, it was rude and only worsened an already bad situation. My husband ended up sending his entire meal back, he was just too angry to eat the cold dollar store ribeye. When we got the bill we asked to speak to whomever was above the manager we spoke with earlier. Mind you, we were sitting 10 feet from both of the managers who were still at the line cook station. We waited an additional 15 minutes and asked our waitress when the manager would be coming. The manager then turned around and said "I can hear that you need to speak with me, but it will be a minute because all this food needs to go out". Really??? Oak Garrison needs to consider getting rid of the entire management staff if customer service comes last to these people. Small things like being out of A-1 is just unacceptable in the restaurant industry. There was a Wal-Mart less than a mile down the road...send someone to buy a few bottles until you can get more!! Will...

An unforgettable negative experience. Reviewing the menu online and seeing the prices, I had pretty high expectations. The restaurant is beautiful and classy in appearances. Everything was very orderly from the entrance of the restaurant to the table. Sadly, there is an over baring smell of cigarettes that lingered in the air. Like you walked into a cloud of smoke and couldn't escape. This caused our eyes to be irritated. Being close to the casino room where smoking is allowed, you would figure there would be a filtration system in place. On a more positive note, the employees, like the host, appeared professional and kind. This includes the attendant to the table. He was a funny young man who communicated well and provided entertainment. The waiter/server was decent. He appeared and disappeared in the blink of an eye, which was weird as the establishment was not busy by any means at this time. When it came time for drinks and starters, we decided on a burraita meatball ($19.00) and a dirty martini to slip on, which was awesome. The meatball, however, was not worth the $19 dollars! It was bland and small. (photo of meatball posted) Ordering our entrees, the server seemed to struggle with retaining what we requested and did not write things down. I had ordered the 16 ounce NY strip medium well (priced at $65.00) with a loaded baked potato (priced at $9.00), my company ordered the 10 ounce fillet mignon medium rare ($45.00) with mashed potatoes ($9.00) and a side of mushrooms. Before he left the table, he would forget what was ordered and had to be reminded a few times. When the food arrived, the fillet was overcooked with the staff stating, "That's what was ordered by the server." This item had to be returned. I received what appeared to be a ribeye as it was extremely fatty rather than a NY strip, which is lean, also did not receive the loaded baked potatoe at this time and was told it would be out in a moment. Sadly, I never received the loaded baked potatoe at any point. The manager did come to apologize for the overcooked steak mistake and offered a free dessert. The experience was lackluster and disappointing as it is supposed to be a fine dining experience. I would recommend driving to Nashville or Clarskville not only to get a better steak, especially at that price. But to also avoid everything you're wearing, smelling...

We were sat approx 15 mins prior(the set us up for a great experience of a restaurant that I have been wanting to try for over a year). Once sat great menu choices, and the wine section was decent(still promoting a great experience). The fork at the table setting had food on it, wasnt able to address it for the other issues that were coming. Now, the appetizers, on the other hand, are very different stories. Ordered oysters, grilled and raw, the grilled were not hot at all and more slimy than the raw(which were big and juice, definitely a plus). We ordered multiple items as show as shown on receipt, but the one item not on there was a burger that was brought out completely wrong. The 10 oz. Chicken was approximately 4-6oz. Aand rhe farro was undercooked. Here is major issue, the chef or kitchen manager came out to talk to two tables behind us, which were not of the same race. (NOT TO SAY THIS WAS THE ONLY REASON BUT BECAME VERY MUCH AN ISSUE AFTER SPEAKING WITH THE PATRON of one of the OTHER TABLES AND THEY HAD SIMILAR ISSUES). We were celebrating my veteran, fiancée's birthday, and was told they would sing and give him a dessert. (This did not happen, but it happened at tables around us!) Then our server walked by as though it was an after thought, and asked, "Aren't you celebrating a birthday?" She then bought his dessert as she was checking on another table without even a stop to say,"Happy Birthday!" He did not receive any refills on his drink, and water was only topped off once during our almost 2 hour dining experience Upon exiting speaking with host Carlos, he apologized for our experience and serenaded my fiancée with a birthday song. so the fiancée is a manager at a local steakhouse, and his expectations of what a manager should do in this situation is a lot higher from the general population. Nonetheless, great services should be the bare minimum. So, in conclusion, we had 2 military personnel at our table (one veteran and one active from out of town) this location caterers to this population due to the proximity of FT Campbell Army base, and I expected more from this more upsale staekhouse. The disappointment was bigger than the winnings from the casino. I would not recommend the location to anyone who goes to any 5☆ fine dining. I hope others have better...

My partner and I went tonight for their Birthday. DJ, our server, was a gem! He was knowledgeable and charming. The hosts who checked us in were also very friendly and even dropped by the table to sing Happy Birthday. They have wonderful voices I might add. On top of everything else, our food and drinks were delicious! My partner, who had an OG Margarita, declared it tart just the way they like it. I had the Lucky Cherries Daiquiri. I've never been a big Rum fan but this drink was so delectably balanced that I would order it again in a heartbeat. I had a petite filet cooked medium rare that was melt in the mouth tender. My steak was accompanied by the most perfect, most mouth watering Brussel Sprouts known to man. They had Gorgonzola, bacon, and a drizzle of Balsamic. My partner's Ribeye was cooked to "just about absolute perfection" and was also tender as can be. They had the Jumbo Garlic Shrimp, mushroom demi-glace, and mashed potatoes to accompany it. All were very tasty. Our dessert was a favorite of and recommendation by DJ. The Ginger and Pear Stomp was an airy, creamy, slightly tart finish to the amazing evening. Our only complaint was a lack of dark beer. The restaurant stopped serving Guinness about 6 months ago and only offers a local IPA and Yuengling Lager. My partner also made a comment about a finishing salt for their steak but I'm sure we could have asked for something. All in all, we had an amazing evening. Everyone at the Casino and the Steakhouse is friendly, personable, and really seem to enjoy being there. We highly recommend it as a restaurant option, especially if you're craving a steak!
