Could this be the Best Chinese Food in Ventura County?

Atmosphere: Pretty typical chinese decor handful of tables on the smaller side. Its loud there is a bar with unique local appetizers. Something you dont see anywhere outside of chinatown.

Food: The Menu here is huge and extremely authentic. Think Chinese Cheesecake factory. They have a bit of everything you could be looking for. The menu has English/Chinese with some local options that you have never seen.

Hot & Sour Soup - Only sold in a large family style bowl, hot spicy and perfect, one of the best around.

Yunnan Style Fried Rice Noodle - Spicy, chewy and SO much flavor

Pan Fried Pork Dumplings - Juicy, crispy, meaty these are so good, You get 10 of them and they aren't small.

Chung Fried Chicken Cubes with Hot peppers - This is so good, Spicy as heck but the flavor is bursting at the seams. Don't get this if you cant handle spicy.

Orange Chicken - Crispy sweet and delicious with all white meat. Must get

String Beans with Eggplant - For a veggie dish this is top tier, PACKED with flavor and cooked to perfection.

Sauce Tip: ask the server to make you a dipping sauce for the dumplings, they add jalapenos and soy,vinegar and who knows what else SO GOOD.

Drinks: Hot tea is served as you sit and is delicious. Allow it to steep for 5 min before drinking

Price: Very affordable for the amount of food you get

Parking: They have a lot in the back with plenty of free parking

Service: Once you are seated the food comes out lightning fast. If you are coming to this place to eat you will be pleased with the service. If you are coming here for a fully catered multicourse meal with a waiter extremely attentive to your needs this isn't the place.

Foods amazing and authentic a truly hidden gem in a town not known...

A hidden gem of an authentic Yunnan Chinese cuisine being served right in the middle of Oak Park. Who would have thought! Good you can easily get in SGV and Monterey Park is no longer an hours of driving round trip just to eat something that is less "localized" Chinese. The wonton in red oil sauce is excellent. Love their potstickers, too. They are "artfully" served. For those that are more accustomed to the usual fares fret not. They actually have a section of the menu that cater to American Chinese food! Is that awesome or what? :). The staff are friendly and genuinely care about their offering and your experience. For a casual Chinese, did I mention authentic? I am so happy they chose to open one 10 minutes from me. They are a chain of (at least) 3 restaurants. I've there multiple times and the quality and service is consistently good. Great authentic Chinese Yunnan restaurant in Oak Park. Enjoy the House Rice Noodle with Chicken Soup, the cold dishes which allow you to pick 3 choices of food on each cold dish. I also tried the Stirred Fried String Beans which was super good, not oily or salty but I can taste the sweetness of the bean. Overall there are too many other dishes that I would like to try the next time. Highly recommended if you like authentic Chinese Food.
