Beef N' Buns — Restaurant in Oak Ridge

I do not really give reviews on food. I’m a world traveler and many of my friends call me “TripAdvisor” due to knowing where to go & what to eat at specific locations. This trip was Orlando and was meant for spending time with my about to go to college kids who requested a Disney trip before they “grow up”. After two amazing days laughing and doing many of the rides we were hungry and decided on “Burgers”. I was in the mood for a really good burger and a beer. As we walked in I noticed that they didn’t serve alcohol so I decided to try something different that I had never seen on any menu. My wife is from Panama and I’m from South Texas so I’ve been accustomed to “tostones” as a side item when my wife cooks Latin food. Let me tell you!!!!

At the ripe age of being almost 50 I’ve had a lot of burgers in my lifetime. And after inhaling that burger my kids all asked me. “Dad? Did you already eat the double meat tostones burger?” “You didn’t even let me taste it!” Ashamed at my manners I told my entire family…. When coming here as a dad and carrying all their stuff all day long for two days all I wanted was a cold beer and an ok burger.

What I tasted is probably my top 5 burger I’ve ever tasted in my life and I called the owner to meet me at the cash register as he was watching his staff cook these delicious items.

Outstanding Experience at Beef N Bun - 100/10

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Beef N Bun that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was exceptional - Gigi deserves special recognition for being incredibly friendly and accommodating despite managing a long line of customers. Her positive attitude and efficiency made the wait completely worthwhile.

What impressed me most was how well-organized everything felt. Even with plenty of families dining in, the restaurant never felt chaotic or overwhelming. The staff maintained their composure and friendliness throughout the busy period, which really speaks to their professionalism and training.

The cleanliness of the establishment was immediately noticeable and maintained throughout my visit. But here’s what really sets Beef N Bun apart - despite being a burger joint, there was no overwhelming greasy smell that you typically associate with fried food restaurants. The air quality was remarkably fresh, making for a much more pleasant dining environment.

And then there’s the star of the show: the smash burger itself. Without a doubt, this is the best smash burger I’ve had. The perfect balance of crispy edges, juicy interior, and quality ingredients made every bite memorable. It was a little messy to eat but one can taste the care and skill that goes into each burger.
