I grew up in Greensboro, NC and as a high school kid used to eat at Bill's Pizza Pub on High Point Road all the time. It was always great food and great service. I've lived in VA now for over 25 years and to be honest never found PIzza places I liked as much as Bill's and Sarji's (long gone now) in Greensboro. 4 years ago my basketball team got invited to play in a tournament at Oak Level and we've been attending that same tournament ever since. Our volleyball team has been coming down in the fall as well. I was delighted when I discovered a Bill's Pizza Pub in Oak Ridge and we have been visiting them a couple times on every trip down. The food is great, the service is friendly, the prices are good, and I recommend a stop there for everyone in the area. On numerous occasions we have taken a large group to Bill's and dropped in on them at rather inconvenient times (like shortly before closing or right at lunchtime on Saturday) and they have always bent over backwards to accomodate us. Great folks, great food, and I give them the highest of reviews! And I offer my apology for always bringing such large groups at unexpected times and not communicating my thanks as thoroughly as I should!
I promise to try to remember to plan things out a little better in the future so as to give you some advance notice.
Thanks for being great! And for being so lucky for us as well, we've won each basketball tournament (the last 4) after eating at Bill's!
Hope to see you again soon God bless Dug Hampton Varsity Basketball...
Read moreTheir staff is incompetent. Rhe pizza was disgusting! The mozzarella sticks came with packaged marinara sauce. Went with my family of 5, including a 9mth old baby. The waitress set everything down in front of the high chair... including a direct from the oven pizza. It started as plates and silverware, which I grabbed up quickly. Then hot mozzarella sticks, which because of the serving dish wasn't easily grabbed. But to set a hot pizza within reach of a baby blows my mind! Of course my child reaches out and puts her hand directly in the cheese and hot pizza sauce and burnt her hand! When I complained they offered to make me a new pizza đ¤Śââď¸. I didn't want a new pizza, I wanted them to recognize the danger they put my child in and that they had officially ruined my opportunity to eat because the baby was now injured and upset. Thankfully she didn't experience 2nd or 3rd degree burns because of my reaction time, but set the pizza in the middle of the table, away from little hands. And apologize! I emailed the company through their website and received no feedback from there either. Train your people better! Use your brain! Your food is hot and can very dangerous for little kids. And maybe have a little sympathy. Custom service would have gone a long way in...

I went out of my way to drive to oakridge nc to this bill's pizza pub because it was told it's newer, nicer only to waste my time, gas and money on a over priced pizza with a thinner crust and most of the toppings in the center of the pizza and they call that a Bill's Feast! and it was a Large! SMH Mr.owner if you see this I want to know what can you do to commodate a loyal customer...
