It's okay but not really my scene. It doesn't have a friendly, everyone is welcome feel to it. It's a very small place and feel inclusive so the couple times I have been, I've felt uncomfortable and I feel like a place devoted to drinking should be fun and light and make you feel like you want to be there. There is an air like if you aren't part of the "gang" that goes there all the time that you aren't good enough to be worth their time. That has been my experience and the last time I went, I got that impression from the staff to the guests. I am not a craft beer drinker in general. I find it's overpriced and not anymore tasty than regular beer so I rarely drink it, let alone know terminology or what tastes like what. The employee "helping" me didn't seem too into it and kept talking to others in the bar instead of focusing on me, which he should have since it was my turn. Anyways, I felt awkward and just got the most familiar beer, which was over five dollars for the one. I know craft beer is supposed to be not as cold but I don't like kind of cold beer and that's what I got. I took it outside and went to the smoker segregation camp. Yup, smokers are blatently put behind this big wood fence that cages them in like the horrible people they are (even though the smoke obviously goes thru and over the fence). I feel like the smokers pen is degrading and ugly and if they cared, could of intregated with the rest of the people outside enjoying their drinks. I go to many outdoors bars where I don't feel I'm being sent to time out to enjoy a smoke with my beer. The live music is alright. I think they probably get what they pay for but I guess it beats silence. I love going to bars and experiencing the place, meeting people and having a good time. Bar people know what I mean. Unless you are part of their inner circle, you won't get that here. I haven't and won't go back and I think it's sad that there is a place to have fun within walking distance from my house and I won't give them my money. I also want to note, I've been a Google local guide for couple years and have written so many reviews. I am positive and try to praise businesses and keep people visiting them but sometimes a place doesn't have positives and people need to...
Read moreFirst time going to this new bar and I loved everything about it! I am not a drinker, I am the DD, but I didn't feel out of place or like I didn't belong. The atmosphere was wonderful it has a pool that you can kick your feet around in, lots of out door seating, kid friendly. It has tons of board games that you can play and live music on the weekends. The only time they serve food is lunch friday, Saturday and Sunday when they grill burgers and dogs. However, they do have food trucks that come and allow you to bring in outside food. The owner came around outside and helped clean up and talk with customers. The bar tenders really seemed to know what they were doing and we're quick on there feet cause it was packed the night I went. Only downside was that there weren't enough tables and chairs on that busy night, luckily we had our camp chairs in the car and they didn't mind us bringing them in. I see an expansion in their future because they are sitting on...
Read moreThe owners and employees are absolutely amazing people! They have great food, a great beer selection, as well as some ciders if that is your preference. They have plenty of games that you can bring to your table and play indoors with friends or family, and they also have Jumbo Jenga and I believe they still have cornhole outside, and maybe others as well. They have great live music to enjoy outside (but you can hear it inside) by the multiple fire pits and heaters during the colder days, and when the warmer days arrive they have their music outside and the windows open, and a place to dip your feet into the cool ponds lit up with LED lights and beautiful arch sprayers. It's a wonderful place to hang out with friends and have a nice drink (or not), have a bite to eat, listen to great music, watch the games on their multiple TVs, and just spend some time together. BTW they are also animal friendly if you want to bring your pet...
