This is my first time eating here at Gillman's. I ordered a double fat boy w/cheese, (no relish, no onions) with a side of garlic fries and a pineapple shake. The attitude and friendliness of the staff, show you their appreciation for your business. The down to earth, chill atmosphere is a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. The food. . .let me tell you about the food music I could taste. From the fresh grilled london broil beef patties to the lightly sweet cool crunch of the lettuce and tomato. Garlic fries had just the right amount of diced garlic and melted cheese to not overpower any other item that it is ordered with. I've gone to this place many times in highschool. The owner was nice to me then and would give me free food from time to time because he knew I was poor. I came back here recently to hear he has passed away. I'll always be thankful for what he did for me when I was younger. Honestly the milkshakes are something worth coming home for. The food here is amazing and the new owners thankfully kept the menu and recipes the same. The quality in food is still great and the employees are nice. Always helpful to recommend food to try. I normally love this place but they have changed their milkshake cups since I was last there. I thought they gave me wronge size since I asked for their large and it looked small. But my daughter irdered the smaller size and cup was smaller then mine. Took it home and placed on food scale and it was less then the advertised weight of a large. Was much as I loved their shakes I will not order a shake again. But their burgers at least last time I was there were good. Shakes are good they should say xs and small and change ounces from their sign. But makes it super expensive...
