I was a new customer to this place. First time coming here. I ordered online said 2 giant pizzas one Hawaiian pizza 1 pepperoni pizza. They said large okay I'm like okay I guess large so I said yes. I went into the restaurant and told them they were supposed to be giant. Women said we already made the large pizzas. So I guess we took em. We got the receipt. It said 2 giant pizzas for $74.69 I think. And it's sad because we payed for 2 giant pizzas that weren't even giant and were large. My dad and I got home. I counted the slices. There was supposed to be 14 and there was only 12 slices. So there was 2 slices missing maybe they got us medium not large. So we payed for 2 pizzas that came out to be supposedly large, and on the receipt it said 2 giant pizzas which were not the giant pizzas. I didn't think of telling the women to correct my receipt and lower the price forgot to. They did seem kinda friendly but I rather not come here. But the pizzas were good just the receipt was wrong. I was supposed to say large now instead of giant. We wanted giant but they gaves us 2 large pizzas I think medium since it only had 12 slices. Accidents happen. But me a bit sensitive so not coming here again. Still good pizzas but not the type of fast food place I...
Read moreWe normally go to the restaurant on Copperopolis and love it. We were very disappointed both times we have come to the Oakdale restaurant. My friends had never been to this restaurant and whe trying to order they were asking questions, they were told by a young teenager to read the menu. They asked for extra cheese and was told no they cant do that. What?? Pizza was over cooked (almost burnt) we asked for another. We were told by the manager we should have asked for it to be lightly baked and that the dark crust just had sauce on it ( we must have looked like we were stupid to say that) then we lifted the 1st pizza and showed her the almost black bottom. She then stated she didn't notice. The second pizza was better but that was another 20 min before we could eat. Its disappointing that the second tome around was even more Disappointing than the firat and our friends were treated rude when ordering. We have never had any of these issues at the other restaurant nor have we ever had to order "light bake" to avoid a burt pizza or bread. I am not sure if its because its ran by young adults vs teenagers. If this is owned by the same owners I am surprised that the same quality of food and customer service is not as 5 star as the one in...
Read moreA pleasant surprise in my hometown. Let's face it most food is compared to our childhood memory of it - like I still can not do brussel sprouts. Then there is the whole Chicago or New York debate with this particular food (group). So I am 'home' for a brief visit and was craving my usual pepperoni pizza from childhood from the place where Tables are not Square. Since they were closed for a renovation of the castle, my Mom talked me into trying this place, she knew a past manager there and said it was good, and she was right. The crust had great chew to it, without being too thick. The sauce was a great balance of flavor with a hint of heat. The toppings of pepperoni and Italian sausage were plentiful and full of flavor. They sat on a bed of cheese which stretched the entire legth of the 6 foot table - it just kept going. We started with knives and forks, but finished (once it cooled a bit) with our hands. Not foldable like New York, and not stuffed like Chicago, just full of flavor and toppings on top of great crust. I will definitely be back for...
