Arrived there at 7:45 pm, same time as a party of three arrivec ,we were a party of 4. After about a 10 minute wait waitress came by and sat the party of 3, Never asking who arrived first about 5 minutes later we were fitted. OK, no big deal. Waitress gave us menus and took drink orders. Drinks came out in a matter of minutes. Then the waitress literally disappeared for a good 20 minutes. Other party had ordered and received their appetizers before we even saw our waitress again. Then when we did see her she completed ignored us helping the other 3 tables she had but refusing to even recognize our presence. After only complaining outloud and then getting up in anticipation of walking out the door did another waitress ask if we had been helped. After explaining to her that we had been completed ignored she offered to go find our waitress. After our waitress decided to go help the other tables she finally came over to take our order explain they were busy even though over half the tables were empty and they had 3 waitresses on duty. I would like to say things got better after we ordered but unfortunately they only got worse. My granddaughter ordered a medium New York steak that was brought out rare. We would have returned to be refired but we had already been there an hour. My daughter ordered the Filet also medium which I am going to assume they forget to make because they brought it out about 1o minutes after all of the other food. When she cut into it was not even rare it was blue in the center! Once again had to have another waitress find ours so we could get if cooked correctly. When our waitress did come over all she did was read off of her order sheet telling us she has ordered the filet medium and that's what is was. Only after we showed it was raw did she take it back. After 5 minutes she brought the steak back so we knew it had been microwaved. Steak was now well done and inedible. By this time everyone is in the party had finished their meal since half of my granddaughters new york steak was fat. Some advice to management: Stop judging people by the way they are dressed! Teach your chef how to cook a steak. Not that hard given today's technology. Hire wait staff that actually has some compassion and knows how to talk to the public. Passive aggressive behavior does not resolve issues. There were other issues during the night that I did not include but I think by now you get that our experience was terrible and based off of this would not recommend this restaurant to anyone! Should have eaten at McDonald's. What a...
Read moreI never leave reviews but this place has horrible services from the beginning we waited 40 min to be seated how every we where a party of 13 at first and ended up as a party 8 4 adults 3 children and where told we could only sit at separate tables . Yet there was a party of 10 next to us where 2 tables were put together. I had to ask to at least be seated a little closer to each other there was a empty table that sat at least a party of 8 and asked if we could sit there after the girl talking to someone above her we where finally told sure you can sit there as we where sitting down waiter comes up to us and says you can sit there if u have a reservation which we did …. We where right at the entrance so how could u miss us .. There was another family that came in and where seated right away 2 adults 2 children they where seated children where given kids menus and color crowns and served first even though we where there first with no sliver wear and our kids where never given kids menus….. we where completely ignored by waiter to the point we almost left but we came so far to enjoy a meal we wanted to give the benefit of the doubt as the waiter that walked by our kids on the corner more then 10 times finally takes our order only then when we where gonna order chicken strip meal for our kids she says ooo we have a kids menu… we looked at here like yes we know you just walked by us and gave some to the other kids that got there after us Then the waiter comes and gives us bread and as she puts it down says here some little bread for u guys . Then she went and gave more bread to the table next to us telling them here is more bread so u can a company it with your soup like wow realllyyyyyy
we have been waiting patiently and respectfully.. the food was ok I had to ask for silverware because only 4 where provided I honestly had such a bad taste in my mouth after the services we got I just wanted to eat and leave then we get the bill give our card and then where told what did we have in our cups because she did not properly charge us how ever when she took are orders she asked us what do u have in your cup so rude disrespectful we where there to have a good time with family and friends and honestly I have never felt so ignored and outcasted like u see things like this on tv I have never experienced such disrespect… If I could say something to the people that work there is that everyone that comes in deserves to feel welcome and respected … Horrible place horrible...
Read moreOur recent visit to House of Beef on Veterans Day was, unfortunately, a major disappointment. We were a party of 13 celebrating a very special birthday, with a reservation for 6 p.m. While we had high hopes for the evening and had spoken highly of the restaurant to our group, the experience fell far short of our expectations due to poor service from our waitress and the way the food was served.
From the moment our server approached our table, it was clear that providing us with excellent service was not her priority. She made no effort to create a welcoming atmosphere, and her attitude gave the impression that our presence was an inconvenience.
The service only worsened as the evening progressed. Our soups were served cold, and the bread, which is typically served at the beginning of the meal, had to be specifically requested. No ranch dressing for the sampler & very few soft drink selections (Cherry Coke & Diet Coke only)
While the steaks and desserts were the highlight of the meal, the rest of the dining experience was underwhelming at best.
What made the experience especially embarrassing and upsetting was the lack of care shown to our group, particularly since this was the first time we had brought new people to the restaurant.
For a restaurant of House of Beef’s reputation, this level of service is unacceptable. We had hoped for an enjoyable evening to celebrate a special occasion, but instead, we were left feeling unwelcome and disappointed. Some in our group even felt discriminated against.
This was, unfortunately, our last visit. We spent over $800 and, sadly, received nothing but awful service in return.
I sincerely hope that the restaurant takes steps to improve the service provided by their waitstaff to ensure that no other guests have to endure such a negative experience. Great food and exceptional service should go hand in hand, and it’s a shame this was not the...
