Watch for where you are seated. We went to dinner with the kids at the buffet on Friday evening. We could smell the strong cigarette smell. Prior to being seated, I asked for a non-smoking area as I was with my 3 kids. Apparently, we were sitting in a non-smoking area.... Looks like someone was smoking next to our table. We were breathing cigarette smoke during the whole 30 mins dinner we were there. We had to cut it short because the kids were complaining about the smell. Obliviously not a kids friendly place to eat in family. There is nothing to complain about the food or our wonderful waiter. They could have moved us to another room or further from the entrance where the smell were not as strong, but our request as been denied. I went to the Buffet the other day with my fiance. Couldn't fault the staff or food. Nicely laid out with many choices... even for vegetarians like myself. The cheese tortellini was especially yummy and I ended up having 2 plates of that as it was that good. The maple and pecan pie was also very good as were the other meals I tried. I would definitely go to eat here again when visiting Fresno. I must also point out that one of the ladies on the buffet counter where you pay, handled an awful customer who thought it was ok to push in the queue, very well.
