Wow. We got coconut chicken curry and it was disgusting. Horrible. Had a faint scent of curry but mostly we both recoiled at the horrible smell of greasy bird swimming in brownish/yellow oil. We got as far as adding rice to a bowl and spooning some malodorous liquid onto it before both of us were too grossed out by the smell to continue. One of us did taste and thank god it wasn’t me. I wouldn’t feed this to my dog. I’m serious. Will never ever order from here again. We also ordered a burrito which was average and some roti with sauce which was pretty good but came in this huge container with about 4 little pieces of bread in it. What a joke.

Had the Burmese chicken and eggs fried rice with Burmese milk Tea. The service was fast and good. The staff is very friendly and professional. I didn't like the fried rice much, but I realized half way through eating it that the rice was brown rice. So it's my fault for not reading it. The Thai was really good though. I'll come back again and try a different dish next time. Still I ate it all, overall good vibes. Definitely recommend šŸ˜‹

This was a hype but also kinda a good bite. It has potential to be dope. Out of 5 this was a strong 3 I like how friendly the staff is. I came in thinking I was going to get Indian food but it was more like a Asian/Indian fusion, the concept is really dope but, the food was mid the Thai tea had too much dairy the fries were overpriced and not seasoned the portions were good.. Parking is a bit tricky and its no where to dine in.

I've been going to Burma since it was one place on Clement St in SF. I was so happy to find them in Oakland when I moved over 4 years ago but I have to say the quality has been in decline over the last couple years. It feels like they are more focused on production than quality. Burma Bites was just a step further in that direction... I was expecting single serve portions and pricing but what I got was tough $18 beef curry and a side of pricey coconut rice that was over portioned and not at all satisfying.

I also wanted the Tea Leaf salad but it was sold out and the alternative was like another $18 so...

Came in hearing that Burma Superstar was super popular in the area so wanted to try it myself. I got the Superstar fries because it was the cheapest thing on the menu and the description sounded pretty delicious, describing it as a spicy, savoury, umami bomb with a condiment called balachaung. Once I started eating though, it tasted horrendous. I tossed most of it. I later learned after looking online that balachaung is made with shrimp, and I do not eat seafood. It would have been greatly helpful if the description explained what balachaung was, especially for people...
