Today was one of those, let me clear my head days… I am now seeing the tails. I have either groupies, or floozies. Obviously not at all concerned but yeah. I know. Now they know, I know.
They’re often caught off guard by my seemingly endless changes in routine. I drove around for 25 miles. At some point, I had my sunroof open and stuck my hand out into the air. Did flying motions and other stuff and as a car approached from behind me… I was 🤙…
The passenger was sooo stoked and did me a solid and threw one back.
Why aren’t people like this? No need to hurry, worry or anything else that ends in -rry.
I read an article about Pizza Ponte yday on SF Eater.
It didn’t disappoint. The guys are doing a solid job. And we just talked about Pizza and being a minority in a nation that was built on the ideals of immigration.
The Oompa Loompa is the laughing stock of the entire world. Of course, all he does is read news from outlets that sing his praise.
And in secret, while on pot…or with the help of his biggest fan…the secretary…he’ll open instagram. He’ll go to @kshas3 and try to be someone he can never emulate.
I wonder, does he read Google reviews too? 😂
Supir… bro you guys rock. I just had to throw this one out there so the hbic’s of the world see what they are.

Read moreStopped by Pizza Ponte and was pleasantly surprised — this place gets it right. The slices have that perfect New York-style fold, with a crust that's airy inside and crisp with just the right amount of char on the outer edges. You can tell the dough's been properly fermented; it has that slight tang and chew that only comes with time and care.
I tried a couple slices: one pepperoni with a drizzle of what tasted like a spicy aioli, fresh basil, and a snowfall of finely grated parm. The pepperoni had great cup-and-char edges, and the balance between the fat, spice, and bright tomato sauce was on point.
The other slice had pesto, dollops of ricotta, basil leaves, and grated cheese. The pesto was fresh, herby, and didn’t overpower the slice... which can happen if it’s too oily or garlicky, but this one complemented the sauce and cheese beautifully.
Ate outside on a warm afternoon and it was perfect for people watching. There's something about enjoying good pizza outdoors with a cold drink and a bit of street buzz in the background that just hits differently.
Overall, Pizza Ponte serves up legit slices with thoughtful toppings and well-made dough. I’d go back in...
Read moreI don't make it to this part of town that much anymore, partially because it's just always impossible to find a parking spot, and also there's not a whole lot of restaurants that I like here Asmara. I've walked by Pizza Ponte a few times, but was always in a rush or just not down for a slice. Tonight went in ordered their pepperoni took the slice and ate it out doors with their ghost chili sauce, and it was a truly great slice of pizza, good dough, fresh tasting ingredients, and obviously cooked in a really hot oven, which is the hallmark of New York style pizza. Almost all pizza in the Bay Area cost around $5 a slice now, and this was a little heavier and had more bulk than most, which made me happy. Also you can order a pizza here, and order one of the fine beers at the local bar next door the North Light, Which I did. (Nearly $10 for a pilsner is expensive as hell, but what are you going to do. That's Oakland these days) Great pizza, right next door to some great beer and drinks. Highly...
