Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Oakland

Actually disappointed here. Was there at 730pm tonight and ordered 3 blizzard to go and when we got home with them we noticed 2 of them were fine, but mine which was a large chocolate blizzard with Reese cups. My blizzard was all chocolate ice cream and the Reese cups sitting on top. Nothing was mixed in it. If I wanted just chocolate ice cream I would have had it in a cone. What a waste of money I spent on the large blizzard. When I placed the order at the counter all the girls working were too busy talking with each other. 2 were on there phones. They need to be a little more professional and getting the customer orders right, instead of being on there phones. I think I will be traveling to ringwood to get Diary Queen...

You know when you’re REALLY craving something and looking forward to it then you’re COMPLETELY let down?

Essentially spent $38 on what should have been Blizzards but ended up 5 cups of milk with toppings (no, it wasn’t even hot out). Then who I can only assume was the owner (bald guy with tattoos) just walks away after making eye contact and realizing how let down everyone was. After waiting 30 min to be served & then being completely let down, we got in the car, pulled up to the garbage bin and threw all of them out after taking only a bite or two.

I went for an ice cream cone this afternoon and ordered a scoop in a sugar cone. The young man had me pay for it first, and then I was presented with a cone by a young woman, who was holding the cone in her bare hands, with no wrapper or napkin. Are you trying to make your customers sick? Would you eat food touched by someone's bare hands after they've handled money and trash? I should have demanded a refund since they made me pay first, but I didn't. What a disappointment and waste of money as most of it went in the trash can. Please teach your employees...
