A fellow commercial bus driver and I stopped in this morning around 7. Two trucks were filling the back lot so we pulled into the lots beside the entrance of the store, realizing it wasn't the best place. We could not have gotten around the building anyhow until the other trucks moved. All we wanted was a cup of coffee each, an in and out move. We usually stop at Newport for DD but decided to try this one since we were passing by. First and last stop ever at this DD. As I was in the restroom it was easy to hear at least one of the women behind the counter giving the other driver heck for parking there. The buses had to be moved because those spots were for customers!! Guess we weren't them. Certainly we did have all the spots next to the building taken but the store was not that busy at the moment inside and we were only there as long as it took to get waited on. Some decorum and patience with a momentary inconvenience along with kind customer service would have been nice. We would have even apologized and left tips. Not one to complain but...
Read moreI commonly like Dunkin' donuts. I enjoy their coffee and most of the time I know what I'm going to be getting. I don't get their donuts very often and occasionally when I'm feeling like it, I will partake in a hot breakfast sandwich. I was extremely disappointed this visit to Dunkin' donuts in Oakland Maine. My egg was not anywhere in the sandwich but outside of between the bread the cheese was 10% of the normal amount of cheese I would normally see on my sandwich and overall The bagel was soggy and chewy and slightly inedible. I honestly believe that my sandwich was checked onto the floor body slammed and elbow dropped before eventually putting it into the wrapper and serving it to me because my sandwich was more disheveled than any sandwich I have ever purchased at a fast food chain. I am leaving today's review because this is not the first time I've witnessed this happen but I am assuring you that I will remove my review if things get better. I love Dunkin donuts however I did not...
Read moreEither the staff isn't trained well enough or there aren't enough. They only ever seem to be able to handle one person at the drive through, and even simple coffees having you waiting at the window for as much time as you'd wait if you ordered coffee and hot food at any other Dunkin Donuts.
I sat in the drive through today for 15 to 20 minutes, as the next car to go to the order menu. I was blocked in which was why I didnt leave sooner. Meanwhile I counted 4 cars leave before the workers FINALLY handed the car at the window a coffee and they drove off! Once everyone ahead of me pulled up, I drove away deciding I wasted enough time.
I would recommend skipping this location and going down KMD a bit further to the Dunkins by the hotel. May be an extra minute or two of travel time, but I guarantee you will be on your way to work MUCH quicker than going to this...
