The cafe feels like a little community, yet you instantly feel welcomed when you come in. I've seen people of every religion, orientation and disposition walk in to find a warm welcome.

It's a nice quiet place to work with ergonomic seating and plenty of outlets. They also have a place to pray in the back. They have a carefully curated library and a chess set.

The drinks are as advertised-- unique reflections of Palestinian flavors. They are of the quality that will cause cravings whenever you're in the neighborhood--particularly the date tahini latte.

They also support cottage industries, local artists and fundraisers. They have pretty cool events. I learned to do block printing at one of their very affordable workshops.

i love this place! i had seen a post about this place on IG and decided to come support a local business. i came in 5 min before closing and assumed i’d be turned down and instead i was welcomed with the friendliest barista. she recommended i try a fusion of two lattes and wow, the experience my mouth had after savoring those flavors was out of this world. i have never had a latte quite like that. i’ve come back a few times now and they never miss. i do wish they had baked goods to snack on with the coffee but the coffee itself is good enough. there’s street parking all around the area and they have wifi which makes this cafe worth the trip. i haven’t stopped talking to people about coming here, i wish them well in...
