This park may look non-descript at first blush, but it is a historic spot where several future Major League Baseball players learned the game as kids, with the most notable being the late Rickey Henderson, the all-time leader in runs scored and stolen bases (a record unlikely to ever be broken)

Lovely large and inviting space. Seems just for the neighborhood folk and park affecionado. Zooming down Shattuck, you might miss bushrod park. Get out of your car or just park your bike. Stretch out and relax at another beautiful space!

Great community park with basketball, tennis, playground, and open spaces. Best pickleball social games; especially Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 4:30pm.
