It’s an ok place, especially if you don’t want venture of this area for sushi. The presentation of the food is good but the food itself was not up to par. (I’m sure for a casual sushi diner this would go unnoticed. ) The service is slow when the restaurant is about 60% occupied with patrons which does not take much to reach, since it’s a small place. There is only one head chef and one assistance which tends to slow the orders coming out, so be prepared to wait. The décor is fine, a modern-cozy feel to it. The mousse cake has a crunchy layer (crème brûlée?) that was delicate and delightful? The wait staff was kind and personable and the atmosphere was relaxed and upbeat. I will...

This is the only sushi place we will eat at in this area (Oakland hills and Lakeshore). We are very LA and use to fresh fish and this is the only restaurant that can live up to those standards. (we even take our parents there when they are...
