On yesterday, October 12, 2015, I went to patronize this business for the first time. I ordered, 1 chocolate & 2 glazed twister donuts. (I received not noticing until later, 1 chocolate twister & 2 regular glazed donuts.) I went to pay for what I THOUGHT I had ordered. The young guy, told me a price of six w& change (I canāt remember the exact amount) but I believe it was in the sixty cents range. He asked was I paying with cash/ card? I replied, card. He went to the register then next thing I saw was $7.45. I asked why was he charging that amount. He said, āCard usage fee.ā I said Iām using a Visa which doesnāt include a card fee.ā He replied, āYouāre using ApplePay, so it does.ā So I went ahead & paid. Get to my suv then googled ApplePay policies. It said that ApplePay itself doesnāt charge fees for transactions, the direct card itself would if applicable. And again, VISA CARDS DOES NOT. I go back to tell the young guy this. He wanted to debate & asked did I want to speak with the owner, I said yes. The owner comes out says the same thing, pointing to a sign that reads, ā$0.50 card feeā as if Iām unable to read, being black & looking young I suppose. I tell the owner what I read on google concerning payments through ApplePay. He responds, did ApplePay tell me themselves or something. The young guy found it hilarious as he lol so hard! The owner asked what did I order. I told him. The young guy inserted himself stating that I lied because he charged me for what he gave me, not what I actually ordered that HE didnāt not charge me for. I went to my vehicle to get the order then noticed it was incorrect. So I then just asked for a complete refund. The lady was about to give me a cash refund, then the owner & I said simultaneously, that I paid with a card. So he took his precious time trying to refund my money. Asked for my phone in a rush, while I was doing my facial recognition. I him the phone in his hand, once he finished with it, he sat it on the counter closest to him where I had to reach to get it. As I left, I wished the LADY, who seemed to be the most SANE person amongst the a good day & left. Before I could reach my vehicle, I heard the lady calling me back. She asked it I had used 2 different cards. I said no, but after checking I saw that I actually had. Guessing I was so upset about the incident, I wasnāt thinking clearly. This is a ONE & DONE FOR ME! Between this business STEALING from their customers, then having NO ACCOUNTABILITY, the SNIDE REMARKS & LAUGHTER itās DIABOLICAL! Iām 51 years old & have NEVER even on some bad business dealing days have EVER received such disrespect!!! I hope that more people pay attention to this business & REFUSE to buy from them. Iām just one person but if more people are aware of whatās happening here, they too can see what Iām referring to. To the owners PLZ HAVE NO RESPONSE BC IM DONE WITH YOU! Peace and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI go here for their croissants!!!! I'm a croissant lover. And as we know they aren't that cheap. Many places are charging you up to $5 for ONE croissant!. Well I went to try Lee's and I've haven't gone anywhere else whenever I'm in the mood for my carb treat. First their croissants are HUGE secondly, they're only $3.75! Depending on how you like you're croissants but this place for me are the best. They're not very flaky and a little doughy but I love that. As far a doughnuts I've only had their doughnut holes which were soft and fresh. And they were cheap for the dozen compared to all the other donut shops I've gone too! So if you want your money's worth I recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOnce I have been reimbursed for the overcharge on exactly one banana nut muffin...I will delete my review. Being dishonest does not serve you well. The post in front of the muffins says $3.00. The clerk, a college age young man overcharged for it. I looked up my prepaid card transactions and yes, he overcharged me for it. This type of flagrant dishonesty does not go unnoticed. I expect to be reimbursed. Otherwise this will go directly to the Better Business Bureau. Shame on this business for being...
