McDonald's — Restaurant in Oakland

Came here on 03/24/2024 @ around 1:24pm and ordered a sundae, and a ice cream cone that was extremely small for some odd reason, I acknowledged to the workers that work there that the ice cream cone is extremely small and also asked if the ice cream cone was a kids size? Because in the history of me buying ice cream cones from McDonald’s I have never been served an extremely ice cream cone especially for the prices they are charging now. The Mexican girl that handed me the ice cream cone didn’t know how to speak English which I find very suspicious and also most of the illegal immigrants that are employed by this particular McDonald’s didn’t know how to speak English either so they went and got a [black African American] girl who was rude but when she came to the window she told me that, that is how they make the ice cream cone’s which again was extremely small. I told her I’ve been coming to McDonald’s for years ordering ice cream cones and also I was there yesterday and that the ice cream cone was made a lot bigger, well she told me that the ice cream cone from yesterday was made wrong and that it was supposed to be extremely small like it was today when I was there I also would like to add how she was very rude and at the end of the conversation about the ice cream cone she slammed the drive through window right after she raised her voice while she was explaining the size of the extremely small ice cream cone.

This McDonald’s needs to be investigated throughly this isn’t my first Google complaint about this particular McDonald’s located on Hegenberger here in Oakland I’ve mentioned a lot worst things here at this location in the past and it seems nothing has changed along with the fact they have the same illegal immigrants working here with false documentation.

It’s been said that the illegal immigrants come here and know of a family member that will hire them without them having to show and prove any legitimate green cards/ documentation to be legally able to work in the U.S and that’s not only here that’s everywhere.

In closing you all need to get it together and get it together fast because I’am seeing dozens of bad reviews about this particular location.

Forgot to mention the [black] girl did offer me a refund if I didn’t like the extremely small size of the ice cream cone. I told her no I’ll keep it but McDonald’s would not be getting any new business from me not even the cosmc’s when they ever do open it’s all poison anyway...

This is simply DISGUSTING, DISGUSTING, DISGUSTING!!! Today around 5:40-6:20 pm April 6, 2025, at the McDonald’s located at 640 Hegenberger Rd, Oakland, CA 94621, while I was eating in the dining room of the McDonald’s restaurant, this guy was clearing tables and mopping the floors and was spitting on the floor the whole time!!! He was whistling while clearing tables and spitting on the floor!!!! This is DISGUSTING, DISGUSTING, AND EXTREMELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! I felt sick, I felt nauseous, and I didn’t want to eat in this restaurant anymore!!! This employee, with such DISGUSTING behavior, clearly demonstrated his attitude towards the customers and this place!!! And it also violates public standards of behavior for employees of public food organizations and violates sanitary standards imposed by local regulatory authorities on public food service organizations! I appeal to the management of this restaurant, asking them to take administrative and/or disciplinary measures against this dishonest employee! Otherwise (and in any case), I will have to submit a corresponding statement to the McDonald’s corporate office, as well as to the local supervisory authority in the field of quality control of compliance with the standards imposed on public organizations of...

01/29/25 - Do NOT go to this McDonalds. I was staying at a nearby hotel and decided to place an order through the app. Despite this location saying it's 24 hours, I placed my order for walk-in and they had already closed down the lobby. It was at 5:58pm. Someone in the lobby was signaling to me with his hand waving to his throat that they weren't going to let me in. They didn't refund my money and kept my food. I used my points for this meal too. Not that I ever plan to be in this area again or go to this McDonalds again since I was traveling, but BEWARE to anyone else who's traveling and wants to place their order through here.
