Park Burger — Restaurant in Oakland

There's nothing more comforting than moving into a new neighborhood than finding out there's a burger joint just down the street.

The only one thing that would make this better is that they serve one of the best burgers I've had in a long time.

Park Burger is this place.

They have an epic menu that would satisfy all burger palates. My go-to burger is the Garibay: two strips of bacon and a fried egg. I get it with cheese and a side of... peanut butter. I asked for this my first night there, and they didn't blink when I asked for it. We actually had a good laugh about it at the time of ordering. Explained them to them it was my favorite condiment from a burger joint I went to in college (RIP, Minder Binders).

My fiancé craves the portobello mushroom (burger?) sandwich. She says it's the best she's ever had. I can't comment on this because, seriously, this is a burger joint. I'm going in for that.

Have I mentioned the shakes? Yes, the shake menu is excellent! Funny story, we got shakes one time, and it had a strong taste of coconut. We go back to tell 'em what happened, and the dude at the turns around, "Seriously, dude! You're using the coconut ice cream!" We proceeded to bust chops. They made us new shakes with no hassle. Great customer service.

All in all, I love this place. This place has it all. Excellent burgers. Excellent service. Excellent shakes. I can't wait to go...

We LOVE coming here !!! We came by with a large group at somewhat of a short notice this past Thursday 5/25/23 and John and Gigi went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our food was hot, fresh, tasted great, and OMG the chicken is 🔥!!! You have to come here and try the Beast burger. If you’re carb conscious any burger can be made “barefoot” which is lettuce wrap. I must say that I truly am also impressed with the prices. The quality of food and the QUANTITIES of food they serve here could be much more expensive. If you dine in get a “basket” of fries. They’re hand cut kennebec potatoes. This took me back to being a kid growing up in Oakland getting fries from a place called Mexicali Rose. The fries are almost identical.

This is a great place for family and friends and you can’t go wrong with food selections. Everything is good everything is fresh everything is DELICIOUS!!! The online menu says take out only but you can now dine in. There’s even seating outside if you wanna enjoys the fresh air. You have count it THIS IS THE PLACE !!!! 10 STAR RATED !!!!!

Been coming here for years, and I've been impressed with something new every time I went.

First it was the Butterfinger milkshake; an overwhelming and memorably sweet milkshake with a remarkably on point flavor.

Most recently, however, it was the Impossible burger, which I had with mushrooms and excellent cheddar cheese. It was so incredibly good, I think I'd take it over almost any normal restaurant hamburger, especially when it's this flawlessly prepared.

The staff was wonderful and very quick to deliver to our table. They swung by a couple of times to take stuff away when finished which was refreshing in the era of self-cleanup burger joints. Extra effort like this makes a big difference.

I have to say also that the midcentury map along the entire wall of Oakland is a stroke of interior design genius as I saw more than a few people admiring it and either pointing to where they live now or where they used to. To have that level of interaction with the decor is really neat from a design...
