UPDATE 6.10.22 Seems a lot of new people are working at DD in Oakwood. There was no manager available at 6pm today. Ordered 4 drinks, 2 were fine. The cappuccino was plain black coffee, no steamed milk or espresso, and the cocamocha was mostly coffee with mild chocolate flavor, no whipped cream.
Very disappointed. If the staff doesn't know what they're doing they shouldn't be left unsupervised.
I'm very happy we have a Dunkin in Oakwood Village now. I haven't had any issues until today. I ordered an iced matcha latte. The two workers, one was a man with glasses, I think he was a manager, and the other was a young lady with pink hair. The matcha latte had COFFEE in it. When I informed them both of the coffee, they said that "lattes" contain coffee. Usually true, but the Chai and Matcha lattes do not.
I read the ingredients to the gentleman from Dunkin's website, the matcha latte contains ice, milk, matcha powder mix. NO COFFEE. Not sure who taught them that coffee goes into that drink but it's wrong. They offered to remake the drink but at this point my confidence in their ability wasn't there.
The usual afternoon crew is amazing. The morning crew is amazing. I didn't recognize these two so I'm guessing they're newer. Still love the place, ill be back, but PLEASE no more coffee in...
Read moreService here was poor. A lot of the staff seems to be in need of more training to put orders through more efficiently and offer better customer service. We ordered inside the restaurant and waited over 10 minutes while they seemed to prioritize the drive thru orders. When we finally got our snackin' bacon it was cold to the touch. We asked for it to be remade an employee insisted it was supposed to ne served at that temperature. Nonetheless, he eventually agreed to remake it. This was supposed to be a quick in and out visit but lasted over 15 minutes. Very disappointing. Update to this post. 7/6/25 We ordered at the drive-thru thinking there was no wait, however, there were multiple cars in the pull ahead waiting spaces. When you place your order and pay they immediately have you pull ahead to a separate area to wait for your food to be brought out to you. This clears their queue so it appears that they are completing orders faster, when in reality they are just as slow as they've always been. Yes this clears the drive-thru quickly but workers are still not accountable for efficiency or providing service in a timely manner. Read moreWorking in Oakwood, you normally welcome new establishments. The latest experience at Dunkin Donuts in Oakwood on Broadway has prompted this negative review they are receiving. This morning the associates showed how much they truly care about their customers, absolutely nothing. They cooked burnt food and turned around and placed the items in my bag. When I finally located their number, and spoke to the manager who ensured me that I would receive a refund for the terrible nonedible burnt food; upon arriving I was charged 4 additional times instead of being credited due to what they claim was a faulty system. The manger finally gave me a cash refund but, I was never credited for the awful burnt food. So with 5 charges on my card, I call Dunkin again to only be informed that the manager had left the store. The associate took my name and number and I never heard back. Who do you blame for the poor service the Franchisee or the associates?
