I recently discovered a hidden gem in Ocala โ a small Mexican taco place tucked away in a strip mall, and it's an absolute 5 out of 5 experience! From the moment I stepped in, the aroma of sizzling meats and spices transported me straight to the streets of Mexico.
The menu offered a delightful variety of tacos, each bursting with authentic flavors. The tortillas were soft and warm, the meats perfectly seasoned, and the toppings fresh and vibrant. Whether you're a fan of classic carne asada or adventurous enough to try lengua (beef tongue), this place has it all.
The ambiance was cozy, with vibrant decorations creating a festive atmosphere. The friendly staff added to the positive experience, providing excellent service and making sure every detail was taken care of.
If you're a taco enthusiast or just looking for a taste of Mexico in Ocala, this place is a must-visit. It may be small, but it packs a punch of flavor that deserves a solid 5-star rating. I'll definitely be coming back to savor more of their...
ย ย ย Read moreWe made a quick stop through this little town and needed a lunch stop. Based on reviews we chose this little treasure trove. What an amazing place! We live 2 hours away and I am so sad to not be closer. This was such an amazing lunch with so much flavor. The portions were perfect. Everything tasted so fresh. We consider ourselves Mexican food snobs and this exceeded expectations. An absolute must for those whole enjoy flavor and authentic Mexican. The green salsa, pico de gallo, and beans were just some of the highlights. My husband highly recommends the Birria quesadilla with the dipping sauce you almost want to drink. The nachos supreme were incredible, as was the pork tacos. Support our local businesses and keep places like this alive....

Torta was very yummy and well made. The carnitas and lengua had a great taste very well marinated with homemade tortillas.
The shrimp soup was good and great portion.
Our only complaint and the reason why I don't give this review a 5star. Was the customer service, no greeting, (we made small talk but no real response we've been on the road all day so we were hoping for a hello atleast.) ,No manners, no over to explain menu items for new comers and when asked about something there's attitude. Also not cheap but the food was worth the price just no attitude and smart...
