Hot Sichuan — Restaurant in Ocean Township

A friend told me about this place a month ago. Since then, I have ordered 3 times. The first of the three times I ordered, I placed an order for fried rice, it was overcooked. It's not like other fried rice I have had at other chinese restaurants. I tried it again a 2nd time and still the same. The sweet and sour chicken was overcooked as well. The food is a tad bland but it always tastes fresh! I don't mind coming home and doctoring it up with salt and garlic. I usually do some doctoring from all the chinese places I have ordered from in the past. The shrimp lo mein is delish. The shrimp are a good size, they are fresh, plump, and have a crunch (like a Windmill hot dog) to them. I've also ordered the fried shrimp dumplings. They are BIG and fresh and you can really see and taste the shrimp in them! They don't add eggs to their rice so if you want some, it's $.50 a piece. I usually add 4. I tried the fried crab wontons, I won't order them again, overcooked. They did mess up an order 1 time but so far that is the only time they messed it up. Completely terrible experience. I ordered online because I have been on conference calls all day and was unable to take a break to call for lunch. I received an order confirmation at 12:30 that I would get my food delivered at 1:15 and it never came. I called to confirm they received my order at 1:20 and they said yes it would be there in 10 mins. Called again 15 minutes later and they asked what my order was and said oh we never got it sorry. Absolutely terrible customer service and not once did they offer to complete my order or rectify the situation. Complete and utter waste of time to be hungry waiting for food. Thanks...

Decided to try this spot for lunch...well...it's my new go to for Chinese. First, the Dan Dan noodles are hard to find down here at the shore. They are DELICIOUS..I thought I was in China town eating...Hunan Chicken was also a great pick. I absolutely love Pad Thai...so I took a chance and wasn't disappointed.. I love spicy food...everything I ordered had just the right touch of spicy. Can't wait to go back..I am getting my Dan Dan noodles and trying a new item. I am really happy with this new found...
